Everything about this place was between ok and not great. Food = meh, edible but nothing to write home about. Service = between ok and bad. The service was generally slow, even though there were only 3 couples in the entire restaurant. Our waiter was more attentive to the couple at the next table than to us, even while bringing our food. He forgot part of my order so had to sit and wait while the rest of my meal was getting cold. Cocktails tasted like juice. I requested hot sauce which I heard our waiter rave about (to the other couple to whom he paid all the attention) and it was barely spicy. All in all, a disappointing experience. Would not come back and would not recommend.

Two of our three dishes were excellent. The ribeye steak dish, however, was dried out not at all tasty. The people taking orders were pleasant but the restaurant appeared to be very understaffed. We gave up and left without dessert even through this was to be a birthday celebration.

The food is absolutely delicious. I had the ropa vieja. The food presentation is amazing and the staff is superb and extremely attentive. I would though suggest that the music wasn’t so loud. The atmosphere is great but it was hard to hear each other because of music wasn’t too loud.

For mains, we shared the Pernil, Bistec con Mofongo, and Ropa Vieja. Each dish was rich, well-seasoned, and beautifully presented. The pernil was fall-apart tender with crispy edges, the ropa vieja was full of flavor, and the bistec with mofongo was the hit.
Every bite was delicious. The portions were perfect for sharing, and the warmth of the staff made the experience even better. Estación is truly a gem — we’ll absolutely be back!

Cute place. Love how the music outside draws attention but you can't hear it inside. Service was great and attentive. Cocktails were on the pricey side but worth it. I had the Jamaica and if you like sweet, this is for you. I took a sip of my friend's margarita and it was tasty. Food always tastes better with a well made cocktail. All the food was well presented and tasted great. I liked the Bacaloa and the Bistec con Mofongo. Serving size was just right which unfortunately meant no leftovers. But I left satisfied so that's a plus.

Very welcoming, friendly, excellent food, service and drinks. They offer drinks you don't find in many places I highly recommend. One of my favorite places I visited during my visit to Chicago /Evanston. I meant to go back but I'm sad it didn't happen cause I was running around. The bartender who I believe is also the manager but I sadly forget the name (sorry bro!) is super friendly and a joy to have a conversation with (if you read this sorry I didn't come back like I said I would man) Highly recommend visiting here for delicious food and tasty drinks.

I loved the food at Estacion. The meats are really flavorful. Portions are nice and big. The cocktails are excellent, I had the Mojito. The flan for dessert was perfect. It is a nice addition to the restaurants on Howard Street. We met the owner and he is really nice. We will be sure to come back.
