Really the one and BEST card store in evanston, after moving to a newer and bigger location its bigger and better than ever! Pokemon, magic the gathering, lorcana, and many board games here + all your needs for cards and regular single cards. Their snacks and drinks are always stocked and the food they make is spectacular. Great place to stop by, sit down, and play your favorite games with friends. They also have a discord server with news and many friendly people inside! Many tournaments for pokemon and magic happen. As im writing this im in a tournament right now for pokemon! Stop by and support this local card shop.

Friendly staff, good selection of board and card games. They have Magic the Gathering game nights a few times a week, and because they serve food, you can come at 5 and stay til closing without needing to leave for food! They also sometimes give away free cards or promo packs at their game nights!Their new location on Maple Ave is close to the movie theater and parking garage. Bring a debit card or cash so you can avoid their extra charge for credit cards.

Loved it here, already have plans to go back with a buddy this week. It's small but cozy and has a simple menu of things to munch on when you need a break from your session. Only thing I would hope for would be a wider selection of MTG decks for sale.

A small but very comfortable game café. Can be a tad bit crowded if they are hosting a larger event (such as a Magic prerelease or RCQ). But if you want a place to play board games (they have a good-sized demo library as well), they are super clean, very nice chairs, and good food with fair prices.

It's a fun place. We went on their game night when we could just sit down and play any of the games in their library. We stayed about an hour playing games. It was an enjoyable time.

Gaming Cafe that serves hot and cold food along with drinks. Incredibly friendly staff. Great vibes!

There are not many gaming places left. I'm glad this one has staying power. They have a great calendar full of gaming events. It's a great place to go and play. They even have discounts for good grades! It's really good if you're into D&D or Magic. The staff is also helpful and friendly. It's in a pretty good location too.

My husband and I are from out-of-town and visited this location Sunday night on a whim.An eclectic and fun group of CDR players were present and we thoroughly enjoyed our time here.Looking forward to adding this location to our itinerary during the next visit. The menu was tasty and delightful; I recommend the Hot Spiced Cider.

Cute place. Decent selection of board games with all the modern classics. I enjoy the vibe - lots of kids here, which makes me happy because they have somewhere to hang out in this sleepy senior town. I also appreciate that they are open relatively late by Evanston standards. The food was basic but is good to snack on while you play.

This is a super fun place for games in Evanston. We were excited to hear that they will start hosting Blood on the Clocktower events here as well. Our gaming group is really looking forward to those events!
