Overpriced stale croissant that they dont even give the option to heat up. There is not even option to heat up the pizza slices they offer. And the coffee tasted off and burnt. It was my first visit there and it was not a good experience.

Another neighborhood gem. Great atmosphere and better service.

Super sweet local coffee spot with charming decor and really good coffee. The only reason I give it 3 stars is that each time I come in it’s very loud and very busy… (and the staff seem stressed) not a great spot to chill with a good book unless you bring headphones. Think more like a bar atmosphere. Others have already commented on the fact you can’t work with laptops in here (they have signs on the tables). It’s a choice by the owners for a different vibe and I get that… but, sucks if you want to just get some work done while supporting local. Otherwise, grateful to have this vibrant space in my city. ❤️

I like this coffee shop very much, however, as of late, their prices have become very very expensive. For example, for one almond croissant I was charged $8.79. This is way too expensive for a croissant. A regular cup of coffee without cream or sugar was $5.79. Also quite pricey. I understand the issue of rising costs, but the product doesn’t meet the price and also depending on who the barista is checking you out, they charge you differently. Otherwise, a very nice place, but the price issue needs to be resolved.

I went here to get something to eat and decided to hang out a bit to get some work done. Nice atmosphere, and even the customers are friendly. I'm a huge coffee fan, so I will return to try the coffee.

Remember to tip Marisol! She is SO sweet and gives really good recommendations. I asked what the chai was like and what her favorite focaccia was and WOW. The focaccia is really good and the chai is spicy and delectable! 🥰

Staff was nice and atmosphere was great, but I was not a big fan of the coffee. I was disappointed.

There’s not much of a selection on food/pastries for a coffee shop. However, there is good coffee and tea. One thing I wish that they’d change is they do not allow laptops at any of the tables other than the high top area. If this changed I would give it 5 stars. For me, I’d like to sip on coffee, work on personal things (pay bills/family matters/travel plans/read through online articles) on a laptop in a good vibes scenery but it’s not the same if I can’t do that at a table. I wouldn’t necessarily say this place is very kid friendly but that’s more because I don’t see kids there, the staff has never said anything otherwise. Very friendly staff!

This place is charming. They offer great options. However, seating is limited and customers are not generous or forthcoming with offering up seats. People seem to like to plant themselves and sit for awhile. But if you don’t mind standing or fighting for a seat, it is a nice little place.

As a batista myself I don't know if it's the actual batista or the quality of the ingredients being used but this place has the most watered down, weird gross tasting drinks. I don't recommend.

As an Evanston resident, who has tried almost everything in the town. Evanston Pour is a unique institution. You can get a great cup of coffee or a great cocktail, chat with folks, feel cozy yet elegant in the space. The addition of trivia nights on Tuesdays really brought an extra sense of community, whimsy, and fun to the already great establishment. I have also seen the owner there almost every time I go. Whether you study at the bar or catch up with friends, Evanston Pour has something for everyone.
