Is this place even open anymore? I have only eaten there once and was so massively underwhelmed that I wanted to try to give it one more shot to give it the benefit of the doubt. However, every time the past two weeks I have walked by with the intent of being there, they are never open! No closed sign or anything, no updated hours, they are just always closed!

I came here to kill some time before meeting up with someone. The seating here is minimal but the window really is great for people watching. Would love to come here during the summer when they have patio seating! I ordered a latte, apple studel-like brownie cake, cookies and cream macaron, and a coconut macaroon. The coconut macaroon was a bit tough for my liking. Expected the chewiness but wasn't the best I've had. I am all about their cookies and cream macaron. Flavorful and the filling tasted just like what you'd expect it to taste like -- the inside of an Oreo! First time having the apple strudel-like cake, but out of everything I tried, it was the best. They've got sandwiches and salads I'd like to try next time I'm in the area.

What a cute European style bakery/cafe nestled inside a beautiful part of Evanston. French Kiss Cafe is conveniently located right off of the CTA Purple Line Dempster stop. When you walk inside you see beautiful pink walls that brighten up the cafe. The owners are very delightful and helpful as you decide what you want. The fruit tart is delicious and the macaroons comes in so many different flavors like lavender and tiramisu. They also have meat and spinach pies which are basically meat or spinach in a puff pastry. Very tasty in my opinion! They offer wraps also. The smoothies are very colorful and fun and they also offer multiple espresso beverages and teas. This cafe is a local business that prides themselves on quality and a passion for food. I'll definitely be back!

I had a great time trying these tasty treats. Great staff and wonderful pastries. These were a hit at my holiday party. I had to stop my husband from eating them all before everyone came. Next time I will try their sandwiches. Delicieux!!

Delightful place with very friendly, helpful, hardworking folks. Food is all freshly made so not a good spot if you're in a hurry. Worth the wait though for freshly made food with quality ingredients. Great selection of hard-to-find classic side salads such as beet and carrot. And there's something for everyone from fancy country stews to spinach pies to main dish salads to pretzel dogs. Smoothies & coffee are also excellent, and a variety of pastries for dessert. And prices are quite reasonable.

Omg! I wanted brunch delivered so I tried this spot. I had the French bistro sandwich, it had a hard boiled egg, lettuce, provolone cheese, turkey and on the softest toasted French bread, absolutely delish!!! Along with a late! Yum! Try it if your in the area!
