This place is gas, Chris, one of the workers there was so friendly and the food was great. This is my 2nd time coming here and I’d come again a third.

Why you charging for extra beans bro
So good! Today I had the carnitas bowl, and let me tell you, it was the BEST carnitas I have had in my life. Good quality fresh tasting food.

Way better than Chipotle!
Guzman y Gomez has great American-style-Mexican food. Their queso is so good! I really love this location since they are opened late. I work nights and everything in Evanston closes so early. For a college town, it seems more like a grumpy senior citizen town with nothing open past 9pm. So late night food that actually tastes great, is huge win for me. I recommend this place to everyone.

Stopped by after ordering online on the way back from ORD at 11pm. One of the ever dwindling late night spots on Evanston, but Guzman is great! Big portions and good food, plus the staff is great (Chris). Coming from CA, these are probably the most comparable rice-based burritos in the area, and their fries are very well seasoned
