I got Falafel to take out and it was delicious. The pita bread was soft and fresh with nice Pockets to make great Falafel sandwiches
Super friendly staff and great food, only complaint is oddly enough too much meat in the wraps which drowns out other flavors.
The lunch special is great and good value
Fantastic food in a casual diner atmosphere. Food is the star. Gyro and falafel were some of the best I've ever had anywhere.
Yeah, you can’t go wrong here, the food was plentiful and it wasn’t oily.
Fresh, the service was excellent.
Ask for the pita.
When we come back, this is a must have.
I got the Habibi love 🎶🎶🎼🎶
Excellent food, outstanding service, will eat here again!!
Fair warning; the hot sauce is HOT!! Not for the faint of heart or amateurs. Delicious!
Excellent, fresh food at reasonable cost. Not too many places in Evanston serving food after 9pm, so Habibi is in my regular late nite rotation. Food is made to order so it takes a few minutes longer - totally worth the wait because its hot and tasty. I've been there twice so far and I plan to be a regular. Fantastic food, friendly staff and casual atmosphere - you can taste the quality in every bite. Healthy, fresh and delicious. Bravo Habibi!
Food was great, really good portions, AND they gave us free falafel <3

This is a nice Mediterranean reataurant in downtown Evanston. The inside of the restaurant was clean, but the pop music they were playing seemed a little out of place to me. It was not so loud that you could not easily have a conversation with those at your table. The food is all cooked fresh, so unless you are ordering the gyro that is already on the spit, you will have to wait for your food to be prepared. The meats are all very well seasoned and well cooked. It was tender and not overcooked. The rice with the pkates/platters you have the option of regular or spicy. I chose the spicy rice, and it does have a bite to it but not overly spicy. The Baba ganoush is very smokey tasting but was a very nice compliment to the meats. The tabouleh was very fresh and flavorful. The white sauce didn't have a lot of flavor to it. I am used to the white sauces being very heavy in garlic at other restaurants, but this one tasted more like thinned down mayonnaise with a hint of garlic. Their hot sauce is very spicy. I thoroughly enjoyed using their hot sauce, but if you aren't used to heat, use it very sparingly. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant and plan to return in the future.

This is one of the best Mediterranean food I’ve ever had, certainly the best one in Evanston by far. Food is absolutely delicious, and the service is what makes them really different. The guy that is usually there at night is so nice, helpful and makes you feel so welcomed in the place. Their lentils soup is the highlight for me, I’m obsessed, still everything is great, price is fair… I totally recommend it.
