Excellent, fresh food at reasonable cost. Not too many places in Evanston serving food after 9pm, so Habibi is in my regular late nite rotation. Food is made to order so it takes a few minutes longer - totally worth the wait because its hot and tasty. I've been there twice so far and I plan to be a regular. Fantastic food, friendly staff and casual atmosphere - you can taste the quality in every bite. Healthy, fresh and delicious. Bravo Habibi!
This is a nice Mediterranean reataurant in downtown Evanston. The inside of the restaurant was clean, but the pop music they were playing seemed a little out of place to me. It was not so loud that you could not easily have a conversation with those at your table. The food is all cooked fresh, so unless you are ordering the gyro that is already on the spit, you will have to wait for your food to be prepared.
