I tried the Cookie Monster and praline flavored ice cream and omggg my two favs. It’s so delicious. I’ve only been 2 times since finding out about Hartigan’s and both times were great experiences.
I ordered an ice cream cake for my husband Rich's birthday this afternoon for tonight. My husband loves buttercream frosting so I asked the young woman who took my order to "go wild" & put as much buttercream on the cake as she could along with "Happy Birthday, Rich ." She more than delivered! The cake was covered with a rainbow of buttercream with the birthday message on top & everyone loved it. Thanks so much, Hartigans for helping to bring delight...
This place has great ice cream that implements a nostalgic and old-fashioned atmosphere. It is certainly a big part of the Evanston community and a summer staple. However, one of the employees has open sores on their hands and some employees do not wear gloves. However, the ice cream is amazing!
