I really like this place! I had the Tantanmen ramen and chicken karaage and both were bomb. Great service too. We were seated quickly and our food came out in under 10 mins. 5/5 stars in my book!
Sushi chefs scratch their nuts and roll your sushi rolls with the same gloves. They don’t know what they’re doing considering I had a table near the sushi bar and it took forever.
Five or six people have gotten quite sick here since they’ve opened look at reviews and eat at your own risk. Glad we didn’t.
If you ask for a GF option, they lie. Rice noodle sub is GF but their soy sauce has gluten in it. Be wary.
Manager seems angry made me feel weird hearing him talk to his employees……..
I was surprised how mediocre the food was given the reviews. We ordered ramen. My meat was overcooked while my husband's was not even cooked through- it was frozen on the inside. The eggs were so over boiled it could quality as hard boiled eggs. The ramen quality wasn't good either. I only gave this 3 stars as the ambience and service was good. My guess is people like the ayce deal. Quality and tastwise it is simply lacking. I would not recommend based on the food.

A Mixed Bag in Downtown
Conveniently located in downtown, Hokkaido offers a dining experience that falls short of expectations despite its popularity. While the atmosphere impresses, the food and service leave much to be desired.
The culinary offerings at H Ramen and Sushi are underwhelming:
Sushi: The sashimi is disappointingly thin, resembling nigiri portions. The sushi lacks freshness and fails to inspire, even in an all-you-can-eat setting.
Ramen: The broth shows promise, but the small serving size makes it a questionable value for à la carte orders. The beef in the ramen appears overcooked and flavorless, suggesting it may have been repurposed after broth preparation.
The service is mediocre at best:
- Forgetful staff: The server neglected to bring water, wasabi, and ginger.
- Inaccurate orders: Mistakes were made with the number of ramen dishes ordered.
The restaurant's ambiance stands out as its strongest feature: Even on a crowded weekend night, the space maintains an energetic vibe.
High ceilings, chandeliers, and graffiti create an interesting visual contrast.
In conclusion, Hokkaido’s prime downtown location likely contributes to its customer base, but the establishment fails to deliver on food quality and service. While the atmosphere provides a pleasant backdrop, it's not enough to compensate for the overall mediocre dining experience.

Pleasantly surprised with how fresh the quality of fish was. Every sushi roll had a large serving of fish with minimal rice, they were perfect. My pickup order included everything I needed and even the napkins were very nice quality. I love the lunch special! Very happy with my meal!

We tried AYCE here directed by their Instagram Ad.
Good things: The taste of most dishes we ordered were amazing. The restaurant looked really nice from the inside.
Downside: Never try their chicken soup. I was expecting some broth which is fragrant and savory, but it was totally plain and I even preferred water. The notice on their limitation for AYCE was printed almost negligible, and we were told that the lunch menu was not available during weekend lunchtime. We were left unattended for more than 10 minutes multiple times even if there were only 2-3 other table around.
Summary: it is overall a good place for gathering or dating, but you can hardly expect a pleasant experience if you go for multiple rounds during AYCE.
Parking: There are paid street parking spots right in front of the place, but you might have to detour a bit if they are all occupied, which was my case.

Recommended dishes: Garlic Tonkotsu Ramen, Eel and Avocado Sushi Roll, Seaweed Salad, All You Can Eat Sushi
All You Can Eat Price: $23 during lunch, $31 during regular time.
Time: walked in ~6 PM, seated within 2 minutes. Ordered within 5, and food was out by 10 minutes after ordering. Incredibly fast and hard workers, all very polite and respectful.
Pros: High ceilings, chandelier, sports bar with TVs, beautiful art, tons of space, clean bathrooms
Cons: None really.
Recommendations: Tempura Roll, Rainbow Roll.
I will be returning, excited to try more food from here. Thank you for a wonderful experience
