Nice experience taking my bestie here for her birthday. Charming atmosphere for sure. But I was charged $30 just to make a reservation that I assumed would go towards the cost of the meal. It didn’t. And the meal for two w two glasses of wine was $194.39 on top of the fee just to make a reservation. I’ve never experienced anything like this anywhere.

Pay $30 to reserve a table? The charge wasn't removed from bill; spend 45 minutes disputing charge with Visa because these people can't run a restaurant.

EAT SOMEWHERE ELSE - not worth the price and aggravation and rude service.

4 of us went during restaurant week. The menu was superb. Especially loved the frog legs, lamb, bouillabaisse and crème brûlée. Our overall experience was excellent. We will be back.

It was freezing cold in there, which tampered the enjoyment of the lovely atmosphere and great food.

Jilly's is a wonderful destination for a romantic dinner or an evening out with a friend. Loved the great food and cozy ambiance

This is an interesting place. When I went on Dec 17, the entire entryway smelled very poorly. I will not describe the smell, but I would not visit this restaurant again if I knew they didn’t bleach or disinfect down the entire area that smells at the entrance. Something needs to be done. It would be disrespectful to customers for the owners not to care for this matter.
That said, the menu is neat and our server was lovely. My mission was to try the baked Alaska and he made it for us. It was certainly an artful and interesting dessert. It has pleasant components. If you like the taste of alcohol you may love this dessert, it is worth a shot. Baked Alaska is not that commonly found so I’m very glad they decided to put out a version of it. I appreciate the thought that went into making the dessert even if I don’t love all the components put together. Maybe it should be baked instead of flambé? Certainly not a tricolor ice cream next time I hope. The effort was good. Something different! Beautiful restaurant and atmosphere.

The food was ok. fFne for a glass of wine and something to nibble on but don't expect a really good French meal.

Such a special, cozy space. Menu is French focused, and our dishes were classic and excellent (I had the chicken pilliard). The only downfall was the service. The hostess did not greet us but merely gestured to a table for us to be seated. Our waiter was not experienced nor very friendly. He took our appetizer order but we waited and waited to receive them, then learned that the order would not be given to the kitchen until after we ordered our entrees. So we had to request that we receive the appetizers before the entrees— it was odd. The Côtes du Rhône wine was great and reasonably priced. For dessert, the waiter mentioned the baked Alaska special as an afterthought, then expressed disappointment (bordering on criticism) when we did not order it. All in all, this place is very special with good food good wine selection and good value. We will be back, and will hope for better service next time.

Outstanding service! Perfect Hendricks martini. Starters great, beet and spinach salads were great! My husband loved the steak fries, and I loved the bouillabaisse.

We celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary and it was a great experience. The food is delicious and the preparations creative. We had the opportunity to meet the owner who takes pride in providing a great tasting, unique menu and a personalized dining experience. We had not been there in years and will not wait so long to go back!

Jilly's has long been a favorite go-to spot for relaxed dining pleasure or for special occasions and business dinners. Despite changes in ownership and staff, the food and service remain stellar. We treasure every visit. On this occasion the restaurant was quite full and the noise level was more "energetic" than usual. With smaller crowds it is quite gentle. Of course we were delighted to see Jilly's full: good business means they will still be there for our next special occasion. One quibble, not too minor: the prices on the wine list have skyrocketed unreasonably, until a Bordeaux that is quite cheap at any wine shop costs as much as a fine St. Emilion! Some entree prices also have risen markedly and surprisingly.

Overall food was good, oddly timed and quick, but good.

NOTE: DO NOT USE OPENTABLE TO BOOK A RESERVATION. You'll end up paying an extra 15$ a person. Having to dispute this with my CC.
