I’m soo disappointed. I can tell the management here is not up to par. It doesn’t seem like anybody is happy or enthusiastic with their attitudes. The place is stale and boring. I used to come here all the time and it had a lively energy. These days it has a strange smell and everything is overpriced. Doesn’t even taste the same. Wouldn’t recommend. I don’t know if the ownership changed but all the old staff left and it doesn’t seem great.

We Purchased several Chocolates and they tasted stale I then called them to advise they were hard as a rock I had never tased anything like that. I asked to speak with a supervisor and he advised me there is nothing they could do and that it was just made that way. I asked could I bring them back for refund or exchange and was advised no. Spending $20 on stale chocolate is not okay but I’ll take that lost and won’t be ever purchasing from a Kilwins again.

The service here is great, and of course the chocolate and ice cream is delicious! Highly recommend this for special occasions!

I love a Kilwins but my husband and I went last night at 8:45pm and the door was locked. Obviously we were confused since a couple had walked out right before we walked up. The hours posted said 9pm so we politely knocked on the window. The worker sauntered over, annoyed and informed us they were closed. When we asked about the hours, he said the register was closed so they were done for the night. No other response than that. Luckily we strolled into Coldstone down the street and had a very pleasant interaction; this Kilwins lost a customer.

The chocolates were stale and not very flavorful, which felt wrong considering their crazy high price for just 7 pieces.

Bought chocolate boxes and truffles for the holidays. Absolutely the best chocolate around. Only drawback was the music in-store was so loud I could barely hear the cashier.

I love this place so much. For a chocolate / dessert place, I go by and pickup truffles and chocolate covered marshmallows (those are my favorites.) I’m like, evangelical about Kilwins lol. I bring my friends there from out of town, if that says something. :)

Holy $$ what? Really… nearly $8.50 for a single scoop of ice cream in a cup??? Seriously? Bananas. Sure, it tastes ok (but omg sooo sugary), but not ‘nearly-twice-as-much-as-a-pint-expensive’ good. Not sure how this place plans to continue staying in business, but the prices are beyond exorbitant for non-lux (and couldn’t even finish one scoop it’s so sweet) fare.

Upon entering a young man greeted us. We were confused on what to get. There were no prices on the fudge so when we asked for a slice and it was weighed , it was not what i expected. Overall it was good. Also, we got a toasted coconut ice cream as well. One of the older ladies was a bit rude when we asked about adding our fudge pieces to our ice cream and responded “what do you mean” in a rude way. We ignored it . Would have gave it a 5 if it weren’t for her.

I don't know how their chocolate is, but their ice cream is terrible, and expensive. One kid’s scoop: $7.16.The server was also rude; he kept the ice cream until he made sure the credit card transaction was confirmed. I have never experienced something like this anywhere else.

Wonderful selection of unique handmade ice cream flavors and sugary confections served by friendly, knowledgeable staff.

Ice cream was delicious but the price I paid for the size I got is pretty steep.

Its an OK place as far as I am concerned. If you are chocaholic it is your spot possibly. Its got great selection from truffles to galore of chocolate flavored ice cream and quite a few other things that I particular don't care to mention since this is not my thing. Pricing is a bit much. Single scoop ice-cream was above $8. It was a generous helping but none the less way more then I expected to pay. But then again its Evanston, that could be the reason. In any case I personally probably won't be stopping by but you chocalate lovers, with deep pockets might. But then again only you will know if it was worth it, since I am not much into chocolate.
