Terrible service, was treated badly by staff, addressed rudely, and did NOT have a good time.

There were bugs and human hairs in the soup. Also really bad service. The owner was very rude.

Food was fresh and delicious, though it took a bit longer than expected. Staff was very friendly, run by a small group of friends and family. Atmosphere is bright and clean. Definitely a repeat!!

This is one of my favorite places for a quick and heartwarming meal in downtown Evanston. They can get busy with orders, so please be patient, I can promise it's worth the wait.

My favorite items from their menu are seafood pancakes, bulgogi, and beef short rib soup. These are my go to, but I will occasionally have the beef bibimbap, which is excellent.

The owner is very nice, always talks to us, and occasionally treats us to extras, which we appreciate.

We hope they continue to prosper!

We had a wonderful time eating at Koco Table! The service was fast and the food was incredibly tasty! We tried some new (to us) menu items and some favorites. We had a lovely conversation with the chef/owner as well.

Now, I hate to be mean, but the service was tremendously slow, the veggies were undercooked, and the food was oily and bland, with too much salt and no real flavor. The dish was pretty lukewarm as well. I feel like this is a prime example of Midwestern Asian food—there are no standards or any real competition, so it's just kinda mid.

I completely love this Korean restaurant. Honestly, I waited order a little bit longer time but It‘s worth the wait bcoz there are only 2 chefs here and make order by order. Also you will get an authentic Korean food from them. We ordered kimchi jjigae and japchae, they gave free seafood omelette for us. YUMMY ?

Decent hole-in-the-wall authentic Korean cuisine in downtown Evanston. This was close to the hotel I stayed at and I was craving some hot soup after a long day of meetings. Service was friendly, but I had ordered the Galbitang (beef short rib soup) and they gave me the Gamjatang (spicy pork bone soup) instead. At least it was a delicious mistake so I didn’t ask them to correct it, even though they charged me the higher price of the Galbitang. I was a bit irritated to see they automatically added a 15% tip on the receipt (as a line item like an entree) rather than letting me decide (I generally tip higher), so when you go check out, don’t double tip as there is a separate line to add a tip…again. All in all the food was good and soup was a generous portion to balance the pet peeves I mentioned. Would I go back if I was in the area again? Maybe.
