We stopped by for a meeting and really enjoyed the large selection of teas. The atmosphere and service were also very nice!
I love this place; it's my favorite spot in Evanston. The Jambon Croissant and their caramel macchiato are just chef's kiss! Their pastries are also very good, sweetened just right ❤️
Truly disgusting, I wouldn't wish any of this food on my very worst enemy. Everything here is awful and the customer service is rude.
Absolutely terrible
Ordered a HUGE order, and instead of thinking about replacements, they sent me ONE plain croissant and the WORST MOST BITTER LEMONADE IVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE WRAPPED UP IN DISGUSTING STICKY PLASTIC WRAP. I haven't received a refund and the woman on the phone gaslit me into saying they processed one when I literally can't find any evidence ANYWHERE of that. I cannot believe I got ripped off so bad. Also called corporate, they're OPERATING INDEPENDENTLY and aren't actually affiliated with Leonidas. Probably why they're so awful. NEVER GO HERE.
Good coffee and quiche
Delicious Treats & Thoughtful Service—Even on a Holiday!
Leonidas Pastries in Evanston absolutely saved the day over the 4th of July weekend! While most places were closed, they were open and fully stocked with the most beautiful (and delicious) selection of pastries. We were looking for something special for my mother-in-law, who can only eat soft foods, and the staff was incredibly helpful in pointing out treats that would be gentle and enjoyable for her.
We left with a lovely assortment—and every single item was a hit! Soft, fresh, and full of flavor. You can tell everything is made with care. The fact that they were open on a holiday weekend and still delivering top-tier service and quality is a testament to how much they care about their customers.
Highly recommend Leonidas for both the sweets and the sweet people who work there. We’ll definitely be back!
They have many options for drinks. I recommend their hot chocolate and green smoothie. The atmosphere is nice but it can get very busy in the morning!

Super good crepes. Okay drinks. Beautiful pastries, decent sized macarons!
I love Leonidas but the service and food is not consistent at the Evanston or Chicago location. They burnt my $18 crepe yesterday at Evanston and still gave it to me. I work in food service as a store manager it was only 1 customer behind. There was also 2 workers behind the counter I truly don't understand why she was working register and starting my crepe when the other young lady was there. Also had issues w the chicago ave location leaving items off my order and not offering full refund for my missing item. GM needs to train these young people they are employing on proper customer service. Stop giving people burnt crepes !!
Honestly I skip coming to this location because of the owner. She burned my crepe like 3 times in the past because she is either on the phone or talking to someone. Never had an issue w other people here. I prefer going to the Northbrook location. It's just a little bit rude to give someone something burned.
The best crepes. European vibe. Loved the lady who prepared the crepe for me. She closed the kitchen when I arrived, but she made the crepe for me opening the kitchen again. Loved the service. I'll be back again.
Very good croissant.
This is easily one of my favorite places. Love the atmosphere. The food and drinks are always amazing. Been going for years and have never been disappointed.
