Love LeTour!! Sophisticated atmosphere balanced by welcoming warmth in the heart of Evanston. The staff is fantastic, upbeat and knowledgeable - very helpful with wine selection. The beet salad with goat cheese was absolutely delicious and the Caesar salad hits every note. One of our favorite spots in Evanston!!

The good is very expensive for the poor quality. Portions are tiny and you pay for side orders. They try to present as French etc .. nothing like French. Do not recommend it at all .

Consistently excellent. First night server and he was well trained and had he not told us it was his first night we would have never known. He made sure to tell us that he had tried all the dishes and drinks and could assist as needed. Great training!

Excellent service and everything we had - trout, steak frites, burnt cheesecake - all amazing! Nice wine selection and a sparkler and champagne as a complementary birthday treat! Wonderful and will be back.

Wonderful dining experience as always from Amy Morton. We had a great table and the service was fantastic despite the fact that they were super busy on a beautiful Thursday evening. Food was superb because well you know.

My wife and I went on our anniversary, had a great experience. We happened to sit at a table in the main dining room, which has a great overview of the corner of Davis & Orrington as the sun was going down. LeTour plays soft French music so we could hear each other talk. Our server "Ben" was friendly and attentive. Food: My wife had the "Sunday Supper," a three-course meal. She is a vegetarian, enjoyed her selections. I started with the Morrocan eggplant -- very flavorful. Then the mussels: At most places they are tiny but these were twice as large as others I've gotten in the area. They were cooked in a rich, spicy wine sauce -- so much I had enough to take home. Then the dessert, a truly unique butterscotch/graham cracker pudding-like concoction that was superb. After dessert, Ben brought out 2 small glasses of wine with a sparkler (when was the last time you saw one of THOSE???) to acknowledge our anniversary. We'll be back.

The restaurant is in a great location with a lovely ambiance, particularly in the summer. I had been looking forward to dining there, having passed by many times over the past few months.

The staff were friendly and attentive at first, but after we expressed that some of our food was underwhelming, our previously attentive waiter seemed to vanish.

The oysters we ordered were very small, and my chicken dish was just mediocre—likely due to the way the chicken breast was prepared (I skipped the bacon, which, in hindsight, was probably a mistake).

My daughter requested chicken on her Caesar salad and was disappointed with the blanched chicken, which required her to peel off the skin. Grilled chicken would have been a much better option. Although the salad didn’t originally come with chicken and it was a custom request, I would have expected the waiter to advise against it.

The third entrée, a salmon dish, was quite good.

My daughter didn’t finish her chicken, and we decided to skip dessert due to the lackluster dinner experience.

Considering the high price, I expected better service and for them to at least waive the charge for the chicken on the salad, but that didn’t happen.

A $150 bill for two teenagers and one parent (including one cocktail, no dessert) felt excessive.

Overall, the experience left us disappointed. Perhaps it was just an off night, but I won’t be returning—there are better and more affordable dining options in the area.

I was very disappointed from the overall experience.
The only 5 star I would give is for the service.
Plates were not pretty at all, food not as tasty as its price was, my main course was lamb with couscous, but I only had two pieces of lamb, so I paid $44 for couscous.
I would never come back and would not recommend this place.
I am sorry I sated my time and $152 for dinner for two.

Amazing dinner experience! Our server, Steve took exceptional care of us. The location is in the heart of Evanston with wonderful surrounding views. The food was absolutely delicious. Our table had the duck, burger, salade niçoise, trout, pomme frites, cheesecake and profiteroles. Would definitely dine here again.
