Evanston - Lou Malnati's Pizzeria

our waitress was amazing as were all the employees. Our salad was a little guilty and wasn't drained enough, so the dressing was a little diluted and our deep dish butter crust deep dish pizza lacked acidity and tomato taste. Since this is my husband's favorite pizza and it was our anniversary dinner, it was a little disappointing but still a good meal.

Coco the manager and her team went above and beyond for my sons birthday dinner. The food was amazing and the service was spot on. Thank you for a fantastic experience. We will 100% be recommending to other family and friends.

I'm glad someone told me to call ahead and order our deep dish pizza so that we didn't have to wait so long to be served once we got to our reservation. Food excellent as always.

As always, the food was delicious - we like the garlic bread (the marinara has a nice little kick to it!) and usually get “Lou's Chicago Classic”. Our server was friendly and kept a good eye out on us. We were there after a Bears game so the place wasn't too crowded and the TV was on mute, so the whole atmosphere was very pleasant. Lou's is a special treat for us so we'll definitely be back in the future,

Thin Lou's Pizza and Lou's Salad were excellent as was the service. It got noisy very quickly around 6p on a Sunday We were seated at 5p (thank goodness) and left as soon as we could a little after 6:00. Still, until then it was a great meal.

The pizza is consistently beyond delicious. Wonderful butter crust, soft flavorful cheese and sauce, then sausage. What is not to love about that! We ordered early online and got caught in a time zone snafu. Coco the manager fixed it for us and our meal was great. Would recommend this pizza place to one and all.

Jake took awesome care of our large group of 22 that came in. He did a great job and the food was awesome.

Great pizza. The Lou Special deep dish is a unique treat with tomatoes, spinach and a mix of cheeses. Def recommend. The salad is good too!

First time trying this pizza. Deep dish. We got the special “Lou” it has spinach mushrooms and onion and of course cheese with butter crust. It was tasty but not as much as we expected. Our server Rob was super nice and attentive. He explained everything about the Chicago style pizza. The location was close to our hotel so we came this location in Evanston. I don’t know how the other locations. If you in Chicago you can try and at least you have idea what it is like.

The pizza is always amazing—cheesy with a buttery crust and plenty of fillings. We love the deep dish but they’re all good. The atmosphere is great, especially outside on a warm evening. This time around we came to celebrate our 35th anniversary! Shout out to our server Brandon, who was fantastic—attentive, helpful, friendly and fun. His wonderful service made a special night even better! Thank you!

Delicious deep dish, Chicago style pizza right in Evanston! This famous pizza spot did not disappoint on any ends. Our waitress was super friendly and helpful, and we all thought the Mike’s Hot Honey pizza was delicious. The crust was crunchy, and the sauce and cheese paired perfectly along with the other toppings. I highly recommend checking this place out for a taste of deep dish if you’re in Evanston!

Waitress was non-existent during dinner. She took our order and we waited nearly 45 mins for our spaghetti dinners without seeing her once. No drink refills, no bread and no check-ins. While wondering what was going on, I saw her outside the restaurant’s back door on her phone and this is where she stayed. Very disappointing for our first visit. Food was okay but service was horrible.
