The shrimp Poboy was tough and tasteless! The waiter who took our order didn't bring a drink I ordered and never came to check if we needed anything! The venue is colorful. It was sadly our first and last visit.

Love going here for special brunches with my kids. The atmosphere is fun, the food is great, and the staff are super friendly. We love the nicoise salad, the quesadillas, french toast, any of the breakfasts, and of course the corn bread. I mean, honestly, i could list the whole menu, its all good. The cream soda is top notch too. There's a reason its an Evanston institution!

Lucky Platter is an eating establishment dating back to 1991 in South Evanston. I never dined there, but a group of my friends and I recently met there for lunch. What a delight! It was like stepping back in time upon entering. Our waiter took our drink order and returned with the beverages in no time! I would recommend the Bloody Mary. We then ordered our lunch items.
