I rarely post restaurant reviews, but had to say something here. Finally, Evanston has a non-cliche taco place - serving real Mexico-style tacos. The Tacos were amazing in each of their flavor profile category. We also had yuca empanadas!! Highly encourage folks to visit regularly so this place does not shut down! They have a full bar, as well, for a fun dinner.
We visited Mas Salud on a Saturday night. Thought it was going to be busier than it was. Appetizers and drinks came out fast. We ordered tacos- they were pretty good. Definitely a restaurant/bar that's more on the more expensive side.

Great experience 10/10 Brianey was our server and she was so sweet and very timely with our services, very rare to find such a friendly server that made you feel comfortable while dining. Mike, the owner, was super nice and made sure we were always being taken care of. Food was amazing and the bottomless mimosas were delicious and did the job. Overall, super affordable and tasty food, great drinks and the atmosphere and music was on point!!!

I’d heard good things about MAs Salud… and have to agree. Loved the cool, light filled vibes of the restaurant…. Reminded me of my visits to Colombia and CDMX. The food was excellent…. Very flavorabke y muy saboroso! I will definitely be back!

Lively place. Came here yesterday for a private party. I can appreciate the decor and the art with the encouraging words and affirmations. The staff was very accommodating, I am allergic to cheese and they made me an elote without cheese. The fish tacos very flavorful especially to be cod, I enjoyed everything about them and ordered 2 orders. They even made me chips and salsa which wasn’t in the menu, again very accommodating. I can’t emphasize enough how good the staff is. Everyone had positive attitudes, smiles and if something was wrong they fixed it immediately. Please show this place some love. Perfect for a night out with friends or a date night to have drinks and conversation.

Very beautiful and calm place. Loved the decor. Drinks were good and the food was outstanding. One of the few places i ate at where the steak tacos are juicy and not dry. Definitely coming back the next time im in town.
