⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Mas Salud Kitchen and Bar is an absolute gem! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality. The ambiance is vibrant yet cozy, perfect for any occasion. Now, let's talk about the food - pure culinary perfection! Their guava margaritas are a delightful twist on a classic cocktail, refreshing and full of flavor. The Salad fries were a revelation - crispy, seasoned to perfection, and served with just the right amount of toppings. The Salud tacos with their succulent asada meat were a true highlight, each bite bursting with savory goodness. And don't even get me started on their birria tacos - absolute heaven in a tortilla! Tender, flavorful, and served with all the traditional fixings, they are a must-try for any taco enthusiast. But what truly sets Mas Salud apart is the impeccable service, particularly from the outstanding server Brayan. He is the epitome of professionalism, attentive to every detail and always ready with a smile. Mas Salud Kitchen and Bar has quickly become my go-to spot for delicious food, fantastic drinks, and exceptional service. I can't recommend it enough!

Had a great time with my fiance. Food was PHENOMENAL and the music was good too. Went for bottomless mimosas and ordered the Cali breakfast burrito and the carne asada tacos. Both were packed with flavor. We'll definitely be back!!Parking: Parking free on Sundays

So the food was good but we were disappointed that the salud style tacos didn’t come on blue masa tortilla like it said on the menu and they were unfortunately out of the Empanadas De Yuca which was the thing we were the most looking forward too. Also we were not served any rice or beans which I’m not sure if that is still a thing here but on the menu I have it said this.I definitely recommend the fried Elote it was absolutely amazing an I would definitely get it again.Drinks were good definitely recommend the lavender mojitos and the Mexican mule drink.

We were terribly disappointed in our dinner experience last night. We had a reservation but were seated in the bar area. We were told there was no other seating available. The bar was very noisy, as you'd expect a bar to be. We just didn't expect to be seated there, as we wanted a quieter, less hectic dinner. There was no indication of this when we made the reservation. It was also cold the entire time because we were near the door. The food was just okay, nothing special. While the server was nice & tried, the service was very slow. I waited a long time for a margarita, which was good at least — the only redeeming quality of the entire experience. After paying $100 for an overall poor experience, we will definitely not be back.

I wish I could give 0 stars. Food is so bad. Dirty place. Drinks taste like pisswater. Came from the suburbs, tried this place. And guy kicked us out at 9pm WHEN IT SAYS OPEN TILL 11 (mind you, it was literally only my son and I) we were mid dining when the guy told us to leave!!!) We were outside watching them make a fricking margarita after kicking us out. So you kicked me out so u can drink on the job?? Okay... Horrible service, you're better off making your own damn tacos. VERY ANGRY

Delicious Mexican food in Evanston! I met some coworkers here for dinner and had a great experience. The space is really fun with lots of bright colors. to drink I ordered my go-to, a spicy margarita, and I loved it! It had a tajin rim and fresh jalapenos that gave it a nice kick. Our server also provided a sample of another margarita which was really nice. My colleagues and I shared guac, Mexican meatballs, tinga flautas, and fried elotes. All were great, but my favorite was the flautas! I ordered the baja tacos and they were sooo yummy! The cod was fried super crispy and the pickled onions and slaw complimented it perfectly.

You've GOT to taste the Fried Elote - sliced corn cob tossed in aioli topped with chile and cotja cheese, served w lime. Oh, YUM!!!Service was excellent. A little noisy but still able to carry on conversation. Comfortable casual atmosphere. We had an after theater visit so I can't speak to full dinner but the small plates were great and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

Went to Mas Salud for the first time a few days ago. We were looking for a downtown Evanston restaurant that was not too expensive but still had an interesting menu and bar service. This restaurant on Clark st has a small, and fairly full, bar area and more tables down a short flight of stairs. Fortunately the noise from all the happy folks in the bar did not carry downstairs too much. They have a wide range of Mexican food that is very good and not what you will find at a typical Mex restaurant. The service was fine. I rated the food 4 stars as the one fried dish we had was not that great. Glad we made reservations for 6PM on Saturday. When we left there was a line for seating.

The cocktail was nice. The water brought to the table tasted like it was from a swimming pool. At the price water should be filtered. Food is good. We ordered 4 different plates, the same sauce on everyone. Frankly the dishes tasted all the same. Nothing was bad but at these price you expect more. The wait staff was very good. Could be great place for a cocktail and a small plate, but I do not think I'd go back for an entire dinner.

Yummy!! The elote, carne asada, and churro bites were perfection. Flavorful and beautifully plated. Great ambiance and service. Will definitely be back. Worth the trip!

The food is decent at best. The staff appeared stoned. The service was slow despite only a couple of tables occupied. Their "sangria" was a disgusting mix of something sweet, read, and high in cheap alcohol and had nothing in it resembling wine.

Amazing food, atmosphere, and friendly staff. Home made tortilla chips and guac were terrific, as was the ceviche and every taco we tried. Fresh, flavorful and very well-priced. Would highly recommend!
