Sad to do this to a small business but my dish had an overload of salt that it was inedible. So tell themnot to put salt in your dish and just add it yourself. It was really an awful sodium explosion in my mouth.

Great experience having brunch here. Casual atmosphere, delicious food. And my friend and I had lots to talk about and the staff let us chat without any pressure to leave the table - so appreciated! I’ll be back!

Great ambiance, friendly service and delicious food! Our favorite in Chicago. Their donuts are delicious. Shakshuka is the best.

MID Kitchen is not worth the price for sure. The place was looking clean and good though.

The food is good but service is really inattentive. Like wait 10 minutes to get a menu then 10+ to be asked for a drink order, and don't get me started on how long the food takes. I'd be unlikely to go back because of that.

You should try the Turkish Eggs, best i have ever had ! Service is friendly and kind. I like the interior as well, feels like home.

Cool vibe and great food. Definitely suggest trying this place out. I got an omelette with feta, ham, spinach, mushrooms, and avocado. It was dynamite. And the service was terrific!

Great Turkish restaurant! The Turkish coffee is outstanding. The service is immaculate. They have vegan, friendly healthy menu, mixed with Turkish cuisine.

Slow service. It feels like they prioritize online orders over in-store customers. Expect a long wait even if the restaurant appears less than full. Food is fair—another one of those restaurants close to campus whose service and food quality should be improved. I dined here four times, thinking that things would improve. In all cases, the wait for our food exceeded 20 minutes as we sat and watched Grubhub drivers coming in and picking up orders. It is very discouraging that they can't staff the kitchen appropriately. This happening once is a fluke; multiple times could be the result of poor planning. Recently, I came to the restaurant with just two people needing to be seated. Even though there was an empty four-top, we were told they only sit three or more people there. The place is tiny, so tables are at a premium. We were offered a table outside...it was 49 degrees. There are many other solid breakfast options just a few blocks South of Mid Kitchen that people should explore.

Was very pleasantly surprised to find the Turkish inspired food on their menu for breakfast. It's a cute little cafe with very sweet employees. I also appreciated how calm their atmosphere is, allowing for conversation without there being a rush.
