Omg where are the crowds? The lines? Better than Chinatown. 6 am here is the best kept secret in Evanston. It’s a mile walk from my place so I can walk off all those pastries. Dubai mochi donut was delicious. If you’re gluten free they have good coffee, fruit cups and macaroons. Just go!

Fantastic experience. Have been there twice already since opening. Everything has been delicious, including the coffee. Having been to Paris, I felt the croissants here etc were quite good. Sen made the visits even better with how he interacted with my elementary aged daughters. They said they want to travel to New York when he returns there, to visit him again. He also knew all of the answers to the questions I had about the pastries, etc. Great leadership there, and great products. Perfect location downtown, across the street from some public tables and chairs. I thought the prices were a good value as well.

If it wasn’t oily, it was slightly dry… Nevertheless, the Iced Americano was good and I will always appreciate any salt bread where ever I can find it. The Dubai Chocolate mochinut has a nice crunchy top and chewy texture but still it was a little oily.

The laminated-puff pastry based pastries were not good. Brioche like pain au chocolat just isn’t pain au chocolat. Same for the chocolate-custard twists. The king creme donut was good, lacking some vanilla, but great brioche like dough. Pastel de nata was too sweet, and the custard not smooth as it should. I’ll give it a second try in a few weeks considering they just opened.

So glad they came to Evanston. Korean inspired bakery, so you'll experience the sweet and savory, crunchy and chewy, and cakes as light as clouds. Beautiful cafe space. Incredible transformation from the previous two establishments and I'm sure they'll be here a long time, especially with that 6a open. (Thanks for that!)

Writing this as I am devouring their almond croissant after a long run. Wow! They are so generous with the almonds (see pic) and absolutely delicious! I’m stoked that Paris Baguette is now in Evanston.

The bakery/cafe is spacious, clean and the staffs that I interacted with were very friendly. Love the big window view looking out Davis St.

I even got another box of pastries to go to share with my wife’s coworkers and their eyes lit up instantly the moment I opened it.

Safe to say I’ll back going back.

The baguette is not bad, crispy crust and rebounds fine. But the pistachio croissant is a bit of scam imo, since the filling looks a but artificially green and doesn’t taste like pistachio at all. The crust is fine, average puff pastry. Tried their almond croissant before and is definitely better than this.

Ahh! This used to be Clark's. Remember that! This is about average size just like the other's. I had a Chai Tea. The staff and service are baguetteriffic.
