I purchased a cream bread on 11/7, (and shame on me I trust the best before date without checking, which says 11/6). When I got back home, after finishing some pieces already, I found there is GREEN MOLD inside!

This seems like they shameslessly copied the menu and concept of my favorite bakery Tous Les Jours but the food is wayy worse. No flavor to anything I ordered, didn’t even smell good.
- strawberry croissant is fire
- solid strawberry matcha latte
- mango matcha latte also good but strawberry better
- their mochi is also good

Check the WiFi before you buy something. I visited quite often, but sometimes wifi didn't work, so I had to move to another place for studying.

I came in because I was so excited to hear they opened a Paris Baguette in Evanston! The Iced Cookie Butter latte was pretty good. I also got a pastry but there were two long pieces of hair in it so I ended up just throwing it away 🫠🥴 Hopefully this is something they can fix for the future. Probably will be sticking to drinks!

I had the best experience here with my fiancé! 💚 The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the whole visit feel so relaxing for a cozy afternoon together. Misha prepared the most amazing matcha I’ve ever had—sweet, smooth, and absolutely delicious. If you love sweet matcha, this is hands down the place to try.
And I can’t forget their fruit pastry… I’m obsessed! The cream is heavenly, and I make sure to have it every single time I come back. 🥐🍓
Highly recommend! ✨
Even though it's a chain I do like this place a lot. They have a nice variety of pastries, they are all delicious and their coffee is decent too. Also love their hours.
My only complaint is how freezing cold it is in there, especially if you sit by the back wall - everybody who sits there is wearing a sweater when it's 90F outside - very strange and waste of energy.
I also wish they used a different WiFi system, the current one won't let me connect to my VPN.

It's ok.
The Koreans love to copy Japanese food, but these Japanese pastries they have copied are just off. It's either not smooth in texture or too much sugar. Simply, just not right. I guess I'll just keep going to Hippo pastry at Mitsuwa for my Japanese pastries.
I came for the pastries and coffee but the service stole the show! Big shoutout to Mo’ for her amazing personality and exceptional attention to detail and Sierra for her attentiveness! Loved my time there!

This is a fine bakery. I bought a whole mixed berry cake for a special occasion. The fruit was fresh, plentiful and delicious, as was the cake and whipped icing. My guests all commented on how attractive and tasty the cake was. Because I love lemon, I also got some lemon tarts. They were outstanding, and carefully boxed individually. They were a huge hit with my family! Not so great were the cream puffs. The filling was good, but the pastry was too thin and therefore somewhat saturated by the custard. The overall taste was there, but not the sensation from my family’s Italian cream puffs. Thanks to this great bakery!

I tried a new drink that I didn’t like, which I barely drank, I asked if I could get a new drink but they made me pay for it. The guy acted like it was a big inconvenience when there was nobody in line. I don’t think I should have to pay for a drink that I didn’t like and still buy another one. I work at a coffee shop too and us baristas are more than willing to give customers a drink that they like. Should have gotten my money back or at least gotten the new drink for free

Decent bakery, not that much different from the other stores in the Chicago area. I'm just glad that there's finally a Korean bakery in downtown Evanston. Plenty of pastry and drink options as well as indoor seating.
I excellent pastries, and I would recommend trying many of them.

Very continently located, I’ve been back two days in a row. I enjoy how clean the environment is as well as the self serve pastry bar with a really large selection of fresh goods, and the service has been quick both days. We were accidentally almost charged $30 for a fruit cup (I’m assuming that’s the catering price), but thankfully we noticed and the cashier very quickly changed the price and apologized.

Very friendly and thoughtful staff members who offered me to heat my food, also showed me where the tray was. Appreciate that. Will head there for the third time.
