Spinach lentil soup forever! ¡Sopa de lentejas y espinaca para siempre! ??

Food interesting, and fine but not great. (Sandwich fillings were good, but the bread seemed like toasted white bread.) Plenty of original art on the walls, but it won't be to everyone's taste

Absolutely devastated to arrive today and find them closed after 30 years of business. So many great meals, such lovely staff! They will be sorely missed.

Long time customer because Pairie Joe's food, art work and service has brought so much joy to Evanston. I have brought many friends and family here not to mention eating here before Northwestern Game Days! Thank you for 30 years of being a wonderful cornerstone in the community!

I have been going to Prairie Joe's for over 20 years, The owner and staff are great. The food is very good. it reminds me of the old corner restaurants I grew up with when I was a kid. And they now except credit cards hurrah! DL Chicago

A querk and good diner. The menu is unusual and the food is unusally good. You gotta go there.
A staple of Evanston with tasty food and iconic interior. Truly the best of what Evanston has to offer.

Prairie Joe's is a local diner, a small business with lots of character that is one of the few places left where you can get a cheap, basic breakfast/lunch. If you want something more elaborate, they have that too. Always check out the specials. But you can rest assured that this isn't a "brunch" type place where breakfast for two will require a second mortgage. The food is good and reasonable, what more could you want? Also, to be clear: PJ's is not an IHOP or a McDonald's drive-thru. If you get there and the place is full, guess what? The service and your food might take a little bit longer than usual. I hope you were sitting down when you read that, should I grab the smelling salts?
