Damn good coffee
This coffee bar is an hidden gem in Evanston. The water they use has a naturally sweet finish, making every cup memorable with a lasting aftertaste. Plus, their selection of unique and well-balanced beans enhances the whole experience.
South American tropical themed cafe with lively barista who welcomes everyone warmly with a friendly smile. Pleasant, colorful seating areas makes this establishment feel intimate and clean. Cappuccino, Americano and cortado were mild in flavor which may suit other palates as attested by the line of patrons waiting to order their java. Chocolate croissant with bittersweet cocoa notes was on the dry side. My son and DIL patronized this business previously and gave the impression quality has tapered off. Better beverage and pastry experiences are available in Evanston so feel free to peruse my reviews.
I actually liked the cafe concept at first sight BUT the founder Adam is a horrible, unsympathetic and deceitful person, as I found out. Sorry that I have to write this but the conversation with him was really incredibly brash and arrogant. Really unpleasant behavior like that.
Great place to spend a few hours reading or working!
I had the rosemary sea salt latte half sweet with oat milk oh my goodness it was delicious. I loved it. It was a good atmosphere nice café clean. They had water, but I had my own. It was a very good experience.
Stopped in for a coffee on the weekend and it was fairly busy. I opted for the coconut cream latte, although the decision was difficult with the variety of flavors. It had just the right amount of coconut flavor without being overpowering. I’ll definitely be back in to try the Evanston favorite, caramel latte.
1st of all the staff is always friendly. I used to go to K brothers for coffee until I went to this pot for the coconut cream latte and I haven’t gone back since. Overall the dynamic of the place is great. I recommend 100%
This is cute spot with a relaxed vibe. I had a delicious latte and savory pastry while I enjoyed the wifi.
Best coffee I’ve ever had

Amazing coffee! I got the rosemary sea salt caramel latte (iced) and it's probably the best latte ive ever had. Employees were friendly and it was a chill place to hang out with colorful art on the walls.

Disappointingly meh. Heard many good things about this coffee shop and have been several times but I’m underwhelmed each time. Ordered matcha today that was overly milky and when I asked if I could have it remade, I was met with a snarky attitude saying that’s how it should taste, that the matcha was high quality, etc etc and that the drink couldn’t be remade but more matcha could be added. The extra matcha did make the drink taste like matcha so at least there’s that. You would think a $7 drink would be made right the first time around.
Tried some of their seasonal flavors as well including the maple cinnamon latte and a limited time matcha with root beer flavor, didn’t finish either of them. Not sure if I just have bad luck picking flavors or what but I’m not a fan of any drinks I’ve tried from here.
Cool spot at least.
