I recently hosted a large party for my wifes birthday in downtown evanston, followed by an after party of approx. 40 people at Ridgeville Tavern. Ike reserved half the bar for my party, and since it was late night after his kitchen is closed, let me bring in a tray of wings from nearby. The atmosphere was perfect for the occasion, the service was great, and we all very much enjoyed hanging out, having a great time and closing down Ridgeville Tavern!! Thank you Ike and the staff at Ridgeville Tavern for helping us close out this amazing night!!

Stumbled in here after an ice skating competition and was taken back by the experience I had. The staff at ridgeville tavern turned my night around. Beyond friendly and accommodating. I tasted local beers and devoured the risotto fritters.
The best late night hang in Evanston. Elizabeth and Roxie were amazing bartenders and local ambassadors. Highly recommend!

We stopped in before a basketball game for drinks and a quick meal. We ordered a round of apps, fried pickles and fried cheese curds both of which were undercooked so the batter was unseasoned, soggy, and borderline raw. The manager came over to tell us that they had a party coming in and the kitchen was focused on their food so they couldn’t guarantee our food would come out in enough time for us to make it to the game (we had an hour until we needed to leave at this point). Given the apps were so awful and we were basically told we shouldn’t order anything else we decided to get the check and leave. Go elsewhere

We held a 40th high school reunion event at Ridgeville Tavern and it was a perfect venue. The space was great, the staff was incredibly accommodating and Ike (manager) was very helpful and great to work with. Thank you for a fantastic start to our reunion weekend!

Cute corner bar that used to be Bar Louie. Nice bar area with ample seating that extends around the corner, and clean restrooms. Recently attended a class reunion gathering where only the back seating was designated but when they saw the crowd of us, they allowed us to invade the whole place. (We are Evanstonians after all). Didn't try their food this time but our drinks were good and reasonable.

This a great bar! The staff are all very friendly and the vibe is relaxed. We brought a large group after a wedding. We had let them know we'd be there and they handled our group with ease. We'll be back!
