Recently had dinner at Paragon on Main street in Evanston. Our last time eating there was probably 15-20 years ago! It was a little later on a summer Saturday evening so the restaurant was a little quieter. We were seated in a comfortable booth and ordered a couple of dishes. Papaya salad (Som Tum) which was outstanding piled high and super fresh. Asked for it medium but it came not very spicy. Offered additional thai chiles which we sprinkled on and that did the trick....
I just moved to the area and Paragon has quickly become my go-to place for thai and sushi, both dine in and take out. The portions are huge, service is friendly and efficient, and you really can’t beat the lunch special deal!
I love the Mongolian beef, pad Thai with tofu and the spicy salmon roll. The staff are so wonderful, kind and welcoming. Oh and if I'm eating there, I enjoy the lettuce wraps.
