What’s with the weak Irish music on Tuesdays? No one is really here for the experience. It seems that one of the “investors” decided to just do this on their own narcissistic desire to have a jam. Just doesn’t jive with the vibe of the bar at all. Very weird.
This is *the* place for great beer and genuine community in Evanston IMO. Super knowledgeable and friendly staff, kid-friendly (within reason 😉), and events happening all the time. Join the CSB membership too! 🍻
Tasty beers. Orange Door, No Parking, etc. are all good citric tastes. Cool and casual atmosphere, lively without being overcrowded on the Fridays I've come. Can't comment on prices since every time I'm here it's for happy hour with colleagues. They've always been friendly, patient and helpful when I've thought about my order.
