Hidden Gem for sure. The place is very cozy. I always get the kimchi stew and spicy chicken bulgogi. I have gotten other things like the kimchi pancake -- its all been great. I love this place and would go here everyday if they were open.
it’s good! This is one of my favorite places to go in Evanston, not just because of the food but the staff and place itself. The interior is traditional dark wood timber and brick walls, and is quite airy and bright. I love me a booth. It gets big cute points for being freaking…cute. Every time I’ve come to dine at Soban over the years has been an amazing experience to say the least. I’ve come with my Korean family multiple times because they are one of the only authentic and delicious Korean restaurants in the Chicagoland area.
