The pros were that I was able to get in and out in less than ten minutes. I had to repeat myself a few times and, no fault to the restaurant, I couldn't sit and eat my sandwich. The good news is that it's a few steps from an open area provided by Evanston to eat and enjoy the outdoor summer sunshine. It was also hot inside with no A/C, so it was cooler outside than in. Still, a Subway and clean and decent.

I was going there to buy 3 sandwiches. The Subway App (points for spending in the store) wasn't working. I inquired upon my arrival. I was answered with, "what do you want me to do about it?" I walked out and went to Potbelly. Never to return.

Apparently there has been a change in workers at this Subway, and it definitely shows. The previous workers would make you feel welcome, appreciate your business and even chat it up with you. But now it has truly turned into a "get your food, pay us and go" type of feel. The food, it's just decent now. They do get orders wrong, and the number of times is increasing. My order has been wrong a few times. And you have to watch your receipt. I'm trying to figure out how a $6.79 meal turned into $10. Even Illinois tax isn't THAT much.
It is my favorite subway to go to, the tuna sandwiches are the best. This subway is only one that satisfies me.

Loved the meatball marinara subs I got here, absolutely delicious, fresh and made quickly! Nobody in line either time I came to the store, made for fast in-and-out service. Great hours for the location and right in downtown Evanston, can't beat that!
