I'm writing a review about this company..I was hired to work at the Shelby township location .I'm much older then all of the employees I feel because of my age I had a target on my back .please don't support this company by buying their food. They don't support people over the age of 50 to work for them .and they hire employees that are all best friends that is a disvantage for new employees coming in the company to work .I had told the manager at the Shelby township store I didn't really think mean girls and men didn't exist anymore but they are mean girls

I have been going to this location and enjoying it for several months now. However, tonight‘s experience means that I will not be going back. There is an employee there named Darius, who was clearly drunk and could not keep my order straight. Furthermore, his body odor and breath were both so bad that I could smell him from 5 to 10 feet away. He should never have been allowed to work his shift. He was the only person at the counter, so I did not feel like I could ask for a manager. Instead, I left the store and tried to call back. Instead of getting the Evanston store, the number sent me to a Glencoe number, which had no option to speak to a person. The message said that their staff was too busy to answer the phone, but when I left, there was only one or two people waiting to be served. Clearly, there are no competent managers at this store.

I recently ordered a meal and mistakenly ordered it for pickup. I immediately called to cancel but Sweetgreen said that 1 minute was too late to cancel because it was an ASAP order. Then I had to wait 2 hours for my reorder to be delivered although that was an ASAP order. When I complained to customer service all I kept getting was automated responses saying they understand how frustrated I must be feeling. Terrible customer service. Just salad for me from now on.

I order doordash from this sweetgreen because it is close to my work and everytime they have forgotten utensils even though I specifically specify in the instructions to add utensils and check the box where it says to add utensils, and they do not put utensils this is like the third time already!! The delivery location obviously is not a residence, and I know the employees can also see that not just the driver, it is not on the driver it is on the employees! I order it to my work and do not have forks so how am I suppose to eat it? Please read the orders carefully this really pissed me off

My food was tasty but I was surprised at how long it took to be helped. It took maybe 20 minutes for the five folks in front of me to be helped and then the staff got mixed up and helped the three guys behind me before finally taking my order. All in all, I wouldn’t go back if I was pressed for time but I was a fan of my salad.

I can’t really speak to the establishment itself because I ordered through Uber Eats, but this was my first time trying Sweetgreeen. When I opened the bag, the lid wasn’t fully on the salad or the dressing. The dressing spilled all over the salad in just one corner which isn’t that big of a deal. For the almond up charge you didn’t get much in the little cup, and I don’t know that I would consider this blackened chicken. There was no egg on there. They didn’t include utensils either like I requested. It just seemed like it was very rushed when being put together. Honestly, I don’t know that I would go back.
