Ordered the classical one and the soup is pretty thick. Could give more sides considering the price.

The Modern Ramen was mediocre. Broth lacked flavor and tasted mainly of salty cream. The pork shoyu, on the other hand, was pretty good.

We already love the food here. My teenaged daughter’s number 1 pick of places to go for dinner. But wow, last night we went there as a treat to celebrate her birthday. I happened to mention that on the phone when reserving a table. And wow…the servers were so nice and after we were done with dinner, they had the robot come out with bday music and an adorable gift, which she LOVED. (Not spoiling the surprise). It was so thoughtful and special. THANK YOU for your surprise and kindness!!! :)

Was really hoping for more after seeing the reviews of this place. It was pretty dead when we came in for lunch. Food came out slow and so was the service. Pretty small spot but normal for a ramen place. The pork belly for our ramen didn't taste that great which was a turnoff. The bao bun sampler was pretty pricey but they were large, unfortunately we didn't find one that we liked compared to others we have had at other places. I'd give them another shot if we are in town though.
This is the best ramen spot that I've ever been to. The noodles are out of this world. I will be

This restaurant was recommended to me by my customer. He and his wife go there often. We were there just as they unlocked the door to open. The meal was great. The creamy broth...Outstanding! Will definitely go there again the next time I'm in Evanston.

Ambiance: It is a small restaurant in Evanston. You walk in and all seating is on stools. The venue is clean, well organized. Coat hooks are on the wall, soft music playing. The restrooms were clean enough.Service: The wait staff assisted quickly. The menus are already on the tables, sort of reminds me like a bar would have. Easy to read menu. I did wish that they had more options for broth, because it's pork, chicken or vegetarian. I was looking for beef and they didn't have it. It led me to only 1 choice of ramen.Food: The food we ordered was...Vegetarian ramen with a chicken broth, I had them take out the corn. There was a fish patty on top and fried pieces of tofu. I took them off. I'd give the ramen 3 stars based on other places I've eaten at before. Just average.Seaweed salad is 4 stars, I am more of a plain person and would have preferred just seaweed instead of long pieces of cucumber and strips of seafood on top. It looked nice, but seaweed is what I want. The Veggie gyoza was 3 stars. I tried one and prefer not eat have matcha flavored wraps. My partner felt it needed more seasoning and it was a little bland. But again, ok overall. The Japanese sodas are always 5 stars.

Great little place for ramen , I ordered Modern Tonkotsu ramen bowl , the broth was very very good , you can also add ingredients to what already comes with it , big portions , will definitely be back

Good ramen. The bao flight was delicious too. They have a "robot" that comes to the table with the server to bring your food.
