I had some hopes for this one as other bakeries in Evanston seem to be getting a recent shoddy rep indicating they've rested on their laurels for too long. This one.....sadly isn't any different.
Shortly after walking in, I could immediately feel the aura of "order quick and get the F out" from the staff, which is very shoddy and pathetic. It's a bakery, not a fast food joint, don't treat it like a hastened experience.

Incredible bakery you must go visit! Half of the location is a bit green and the other half is a café. When I walked in, I was greeted with the smile and excellent service. I let them know. This is my first time visiting. They suggested a few of their most popular treats I picked up a few cookies to try And the friendly woman behind the counter, offered me a complementary cookie on the house.
