Had such a blast last night listening to Dan Jackson kick off Encore!Evanston with his 90s guitar set. Just like MTV Unplugged but with delicious cocktails and tacos, too! Will definitely return next week!
Great, warm interior. Semi-circular tufted seat banquets and wall tables. Ask for server Ned B. Wine and ales very good. An order of Burrata came w toasted rolls, roasted tomato and pesto. Very good. Fried Calamari was nicely cooked and had a side of ginger dipping sauce, also good.Surprised at the 15% meals tax. I’m from out of state.
The blue horse tavern side was not open so we were ushered to the Diablo Tacos side. We still had access to the menu of the blue horse but the vibes were totally different from what we expected. Service was really good. Our server was really attentive. Definitely mention any allergies beforehand. We had someone who was allergic to oranges and she had ordered a drink with orange in it. Thankfully we mentioned it and the server made sure before the drink was made. We also got free...
