I cannot rave enough about the quality of my experience at the fat shallot in Evanston. The food was great The atmosphere was amazing - We sat outside in the back and soaked up the sun It was comfortable and comforting. John, who was running the place today, bent over backwards to make us comfortable and make sure every need was taken care of. The food was delicious, The place was fun, Everybody there got in the spirit. I’m amazed this incredible resource is right in my neighborhood

We had a Truffle BLT and a Buffalo chicken sandwich plus fried Brussel Sprouts. The food was delivered in short time and was still warm. Including tip we spent $64.50, which I find rich for 2 people eating sandwiches. Didn’t come with fries or any side-dish. The sandwiches and the brussel sprouts were tasty, good texture and still crisp. This meal was overpriced.

The food was okay. By brother liked the buffalo chicken sandwich but the BLT and my husband's fish tacos were alright. There was also a tall male employee that was very on top of things but his coworker, a younger blond girl, kept talking with her friend (came in as a customer) and wasn't really doing her job.

Had the chicken buffalo sandwich with grilled onions. It was crunchy and fresh. Simply amazing, this place knows how to make simple good food that doesn't dissapoint. ginger lemonade was quite good. they dont have a big menu but Im pretty sure this is why their food is so good.

We hosted a surprise wedding shower for a colleague and The Fat Shallot knocked it out of the park. The menu selection process was extremely easy and the food was awesome. We even had to change the date a week out and they kindly adjusted it for us. Top notch experience at an affordable price.

Just had my first burger from the fat shallot. I have to say in my opinion it’s the worst burger I’ve ever had! The level of salt in the burger and fries was horrendous!!!…WENT STRAIGHT INTO THE TRASH CAN. Never going back.

I had the most delicious perfectly peppered burger at the Fat Shallot. Also my burger was perfectly grilled with fresh arugula and handmade dill pickles. The Fat Shallot has nice staff and is very clean with two different areas for outdoor seating. I recommend this place to anyone who enjoys summertime grilled foods and a nice treat!
