Olive mountain grill is one of my favorite restaurants to visit in Evanston. I always get the lunch special combination which has rice beef chicken and steak and you can also pick a side for which I always get falafel. The service is always friendly and fast. They recently remodeled a bit so the place looks nice. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I ordered via Grubhub, but Olive Mountain handles their own deliveries. After waiting over an hour, I never received my meal. This is despite the fact that the app indicated that Olive Mountain had indeed prepared my food and sent it on its way. A Grubhub customer service member attempted to contact them and got no response, so Grubhub refunded the entire bill. I won’t be trying take out from them in the future.

I ordered via Grubhub, and after 2 hours of waiting on the "order is arriving soon" screen I finally gave up and went to bed. At this point they were closed for 1.5 hours, plus they do their own deliveries so I assume that I paid, they accepted the order and never made it. Really sad because I've heard great things about Olive Mountain.

We ordered take out from here tonight and the food was the most delicious mediterranean food that we have ever eaten. Every single dish was perfect, even better than we could have ever dreamed. This review sounds ridiculous but I swear I have never been so blown away by outstanding service, and mouth-watering, incredible food. The service was so insanely friendly and helpful. This, from now on, is the only Mediterranean restaurant we will be eating from, and we cannot recommend it enough. Come to eat these divine delectables and you too will be blessed by the cherubs that have graced our gold-tinted food. Many restaurants are using the pandemic as an excuse for bad service, but not Olive Mountain Grill oh no siree. It has more than delivered, exceeded my expectations in every realm and I do beseech you to order from here if you want to support the good service and meals that most restaurants nowadays lack. ps. this review was composed by my slightly hyperbolic 15 year-old daughter. But, the food and the service were indeed top notch.

For many, many years this was my go to Middle Eastern restaurant in Evanston. It changed hands recently and my last two visits were a disappointment. The service is friendly, but the food is below average. Sorry to see an old favorite go down hill like this.
