I read about this bakery in Evanston Restaurant Facebook Group and tried it out yesterday for the first time! I got pain du chocolat and ham and cheese sandwich and it was a such a nice treat! Sandwich was very fresh and well made, chocolate bread has very generous filling, just overall quality food! Not to mention the lady at the checkout was very kind and friendly!

A delightful and cozy French bakery with a warm atmosphere. The croissant had that perfect crisp exterior and soft, buttery interior, and the ham and cheese sandwich was simple yet incredibly flavorful. The owner was so friendly and sweet!!! Her warm energy makes the whole place feel special. You can tell this bakery is run with heart. A wonderful spot for a relaxing brunch. Highly recommend!

The staff were friendly and welcoming. The interior was well designed, roomy, and well lit. The background music was calming, but not too loud. The pastries were very delicious, I would highly recommended this cafe to all in the area.

visited The Praline Cauldron and had a delightful experience! I tried a chocolate éclair and a Paris-Brest — absolutely delicious, and the coffee was great too. The baguette is also very good. There’s plenty of parking, which makes it convenient. They also have a wide selection of pastries and beautiful sandwiches. Highly recommend!

I won a collection of six pastries from the Praline Cauldron at a charity auction. My only problem was that I could not decide on which six to select... they all looked so great. I managed to decide and also bought a gorgeous looking quiche to have for breakfast at home ethe next day. Everything looked, but more importantly, tasted even better. I will certainly go back and visit again.
