Wonderful flaky pastries. A great selection of pain au chocolat, almond croissants, plain croissants, pain au raisins, and others. They have a beautiful array of quiche lorraine and ham and cheese sandwiches on baguettes. No baguettes for sale as yet. Coffee is Italian and the espresso was strong and flavorful. A delicious, authentic French bakery in Evanston. The first place that I’ve been to that truly feels like France when you step inside. The pastries are high quality and the patisserie is impeccable. It’s a little hard to spot from the street but you won’t regret giving it a try!

Rémy is a truly talented French pâtissier and chef — everything he makes tastes like it’s straight out of a Paris bakery. You can really tell he uses real butter and cooks with a lot of passion. The pastries are perfectly flaky, rich, and full of flavor. The Praline Cauldron is a hidden gem — don’t miss it if you love genuine French baking!
