I've been to the Evanston location several times and have had good food, good service, an average wait time and good smoothies except for one of my previous visits. I got 3 smoothies and they tasted watery and just not good. The peanut butter cup that was not drinkable at all and I'm not sure what the kiwi quencher tasted like other than something I didn't want. Whomever was working at 1 pm on July 22 deserves a raise. Quite possibly the best smoothie from Tropical Smoothie Cafe that I've ever had (out of easily more than 100). She was extremely friendly, multitasked really well, and kept the store super clean. Glad to have discovered this location so close to my house.
