Union Squared Pizza - Detroit Style

I decided to dine in. There are only a few tables so I was lucky to get one. I imagine that it's more of a carry out joint. The guy that waited on me was also handling front counter carry out duties. He was good though. Got me seated, took my order, and checked on me a couple of times. I ordered two of the 1/4 pizza Pepperoni's. It was good. I don't eat Detroit style often so not much to compare it to but the sauce had a zing. The crust was crisp in the edges but soft in the middle. I enjoyed it quite a bit and recommend checking it out.

The best Detroit pizza outside of Detroit. Buddy's twin. Excellent crispy crust and full of flavor. Don't walk. Run.

Detroit style pizza has great crispy crust with flavorful sauce. I kept it the simple the first time and just got cheese flavors came through amazingly. Good amount of cheese and sauce. The second time we got the GodFather that was phenomenal! They have a really nice lite fluffy soft dough with a crispy bottom and I love the caramelized cheese crust! Service was awesome. There is limited seating inside so plan accordingly they also offer patio seating in the back during the summer time. 100% recommend!

The BEST pace to eat outdoors in Evanston! Killer Detroit-style pizza and salads. My recs are the Chopped Salad and The Clincher pizza—cupped pepperoni, pickled jalapeños, & Mike’s hot honey. Solid beer & wine list along with a few cocktails.

Bocce out back while you wait for your table. Reservations on Resy are available for parties 6 & larger. There are a handful of tables inside too & a brisk carry out area.

Lovely place to go in the summer. It has a lovely terrace to hang out in the hot summer and lovely seats. The menu is not very extensive but the pizzas are good. They do have variety on the beverage menu and loved the boozy slushie. Good place to go in Evanston with the family

Food makes this 95 percentile and I speak having looked for good pizza around north Chicago many years. Staff is youngens, of good heart but somewhat less clue. Not a real problem, have patience, the vibe is good.

I can vouch for the classic veggie and the greek. The crust is easy the best I can remember, anywhere.
