I loved Marchelloni’s. I drive from Gibson City every Sunday to get it. The last 3 times it’s been horrible. Not cooked long enough, cheese falls off, and the crust soggy. It’s the end of an era. Something has changed. Nonetheless- staff is kind. The food - it’s not the same Marchelloni’s.
My favorite hometown pizza place. Super thick crusts and amazing tomato sauce. The cheese nugget pizza is really good too. I love the BBQ Chicken and sausage pizzas the most. Also, disclaimer, thick crust does not mean Chicago-Style deep dish. It means you're getting a super thick piece of crust, a little crispy on the bottom, soft inside.
Pizza was great, friendly staff, very clean! They asked us what kind of pizza we liked as soon as we arrived. They had it done and available very quickly. No complaints at all. We were there on Saturday before the races. They were very busy too.
