“We discovered this amazing oasis tucked away in the wilderness. So glad we ventured out to find it. The beers we sampled were top-notch, and the prices were reasonable. The outdoor setup is charming, making it a perfect spot for relaxation. Definitely worth the drive - tranquil ambiance, delightful staff, and fantastic brews!”

“I forgot what it's called, but I ordered a steak wet burrito and it was fantastic. The meat was seasoned perfectly. My gf had the fajitas and she loved it as well. The only thing was the margaritas weren't really strong, tasted like Kool-Aide.”

“A gem in the rough. If you are anywhere even near Fairbury and have that craving for a coffee or barista-type drink, do yourself a favor and visit here. The coffee is bar none, and this is coming from a self-labeled coffee snob. They roast their own coffee in house and the staff are beyond knowledgeable. I appreciate the fact that one of the operators can talk about the science and nuisances of coffee all the while remembering my drink and how I like it flawlessly. The only problem I have with this place is the fact there isn't more of them. Absolutely wonderful people and peerless coffee!”

“Finally came here for the first time. And boy did they not disappoint! My daughter got the nacho supreme, it was fantastic! None of the chips were soggy, which is a huge plus! We got the creamy potato soup, also really good! Can’t wait to go dine in next time for breakfast!”

“My favorite hometown pizza place. Super thick crusts and amazing tomato sauce. The cheese nugget pizza is really good too. I love the BBQ Chicken and sausage pizzas the most. Also, disclaimer, thick crust does not mean Chicago-Style deep dish. It means you're getting a super thick piece of crust, a little crispy on the bottom, soft inside.”

“I recently moved here and it's a very small town with very little to do. Last night i was sitting on my porch and heard some great music coming from the bar that's only a block away so I decided to check it out. As I approached the back entrance there was a local food vendor/food truck "Cilantro and Lime". They had a lot of people waiting in line to order so I went inside to get a drink. There was not an empty seat in the place, the bartender/owner was super fast and made me a great Margarita. The crowd seemed to be really enjoying themselves and very welcoming to me being a new comer. The Smash Burgers were amazing, two thumbs up for this guy. Overall the service was great, place was clean and awesome customers. I never really write reviews but after reading very recent reviews of this place that were very negative I feel compelled to say to thank you to the staff for a job well done. I was in the service industry for thirty five years and I was impressed by how quick the service was, the place was packed. Great small town bar!”

“No longer do dine-in, they haven't updated that on Google. I do wish they would allow dine-in, but they haven't since COVID.....Really, you spend $37 dollars for 2 people, depending on what you get.....it's pricey, but a nice treat every once in a while.”

“Great and friendly service getting us through the drive thru with a footlong herbs real quick, packed veggies too. I'm not a fan of bow Subway throws chemicals on their veggies to keep them shiny and looking fresh nor the big price increases from the five dollar footlongs of days of yore. There's not much in the area so it does fine for the later evening fill-up.”

“The food is made with fresh ingredients (you can watch the cook prepare it). The service is very prompt, and the staff are courteous, and attentive. Oh and yes, the food is delicious!Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options are limited. Just adding a vege burger, or black bean burger as an alternative would really improve Vegetarian options.”

Lola's Homestyle Filipino Cooking is genuinely one of those special places. Lola's is clean, bright, welcoming, authentic and well managed by the owner.The kitchen was immaculate and busy (see pictures). If you have $15 to $20 for dinner, Skip the fast food and get some classy made from scratch food here at Lola's for the same money ( thank me later!!!). Offerings include rotating authentic Filipino dishes, as well as Ginger Garlic Short Ribs, Crispy Chicken Tacos, Pork BBQ Skewers, Ahi Tuna Poki, Crispy Pork Belly (a specialty here!), Korean Burnt Ends Tacos, Chicken Adobo Wings, World Class Ramen, Pancit Noodles, Beer & Bagoong Chicken Skewers, Popcorn Chicken (choice of ten different sauces), Fried Rice, Bangus (fried fish), Crispy Pork Egg rolls (top notch!), Stir Fried Veggies, Loaded Longanisa Fries ( cheesy sauce and green onions). Desserts include "Halo Halo", Sweet Potato Fries (powdered sugar & marshmallow fluff) and authentic made from scratch Ice Cream ( Mango, Uber, Buko Padan or Black Sesame). Many drink offerings including various flavors of Boba, lemonades, and sodas. I hope the folks in Pontiac appreciate such a special restaurant and having it well staffed and managed by on-site, working ownership. The attention to detail, care put into service and the immaculate cleanliness is a rare find in today's restaurant industry at any price level. I hope Lola's Homestyle Filipino Cooking gets the support from the citizens of Pontiac for many years to come. Do yourself a favor and patronize these folks. “It’s always a pleasant experience when I stop by Pontiac Nutrition 61764. Kelly Thompson is very knowledgeable regarding the products she has to offer and is also very accommodating. I try to stop in a couple times a week.”

“In need of sustenance we popped into Pfaff's Bakery whilst driving through Pontiac. We were immediately greeted by a friendly face behind the counter who welcomed us, told us the story behind the bakery and allowed us time to peruse the wonderful array of cakes behind the counter. Armed with four Pontiac Danish pastries, two filled with apricot and two with blueberry jam, plus two cups of self poured coffee from a flask on the counter we sat down at one of the tables and started chatting to the gentleman at the next table. He was a local and equally as friendly, enquiring as to our journey thus far and where we are heading next. The pastries were beyond good and while we were there a steady stream of locals came in to buy pastries and cakes for parties and birthdays. We could not resist leaving with some cookies, a couple of turnovers (recommended by the young man behind the counter) and a chocolate cake in the shape of a large walnut whip.”

“Only reason I gave it four stars for atmosphere is because it's a pizza place. You're not going to wear a tuxedo to go there but it's very clean and neat.Fantastic Pizza! “Awesome place! I tend to try wings every place I go and figured I'd try these wings out. On the menu they are under the appetizer section and are "smoked wings". I ordered those and cheese fries. These wings were some of the best I have had and were a lot different than any wing I've ever had, also cheese fries were very good. Everyone at my table was pleased with the food but the wait time for food was LONG. Other than that, this is a great place and atmosphere!”

“I've told everyone about this place food was ok only reason I gave all 5 stars is because the sweet waitress that has the lip piercing ( didn't catch her name) was busy dinner rush but she was there checking on us often and asking if we were OK Even gave me a bag since we asked for three boxes and the sweet bus person who was sweet as candy she looked really young and hard to find young people who works so hard kuddos to her and the waitress”
