“This is the 2nd time I've dined at Cafe 110 West. We went on Sunday. They only serve breakfast on Sunday. We were limited, but that was fine. Everyone pretty much ordered off the menu. I love wraps so I asked if I could get a breakfast wrap ( breakfast wraps are not on the menu). Our waitress said she was pretty sure she could accommodate my request. The wrap was amazing! Everyone else at the table said their food was really good. The decor is really cool. We're talking about going back this Sat for prime rib Sat. If you are interested in the prime rib you need to make a reservation.”
“Wow!!!! This place ROCKS!!!! Well I should just say the OWNER ROCKSS!!! I asked to talk to him and he totally RESPECTED ME! Haha just because I guess he was HAPPY to hear what I had to say even !!!!! All I wanted to say was I'm happy they had MUSIC! JUKEBOX MUSIC…. That you have to PAY LITTLE FOR!!!! But since he was RESPECTFUL when I just called him, with COMPLEMENTS….. and he said “I saw who you were… and wanted to talk to you!!” WOW… I've been coming here for YEARS!! What a professional is the OWNER OF THE BAR, I’d say…. People , GO HERE!!!!!!!!!!”
“The food is made with fresh ingredients (you can watch the cook prepare it). The service is very prompt, and the staff are courteous, and attentive. Oh and yes, the food is delicious!Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options are limited. Just adding a vege burger, or black bean burger as an alternative would really improve Vegetarian options.”
“This is pretty authentic Mexican American food. They are very friendly and reasonably priced. Very delicious food. And the portions are big. The street corn is absolutely terrific. Their desserts are light and creamy.Parking: It is not a huge lot and shared by multiple businesses.Wheelchair accessibility: A couple wheelchair only parking right in front.”
“Awesome cafe! Good coffee and hot chocolate and pastries, but the best part is the service, the workers are kind and one even gave us a free affogato to try! There's Christian decor and Bibles upstairs too! Definitely somewhere we'll return to whenever we're in town”
“these are easily some of the best tacos I've ever had! the various meats (we had the pollo, pastor, and carne molida) were all seasoned/marinated/flavored to perfection. (and you absolutely must try the salsa verde and rojo with the tacos; I think those were actually my favorite of all the food.) the cilantro and onion toppings were both super fresh, the chips were literally still warm from being fried, the salsa was just a notch spicy to compliment the rest of the food. we also got a side of rice which was seasoned enough to go well but not overpower the rest of the food. I fully plan on going out of my way to come here again anytime I'm even nearby the area.”
“This place is amazing! Excellent breakfast... no frills just good home cooking. Everyone was super friendly and accommodating. The restaurant itself was super clean and had a bunch of cool artifacts and things to look at. Definitely recommend! Btw husband had the biscuits and gravy breakfast but he sit it so fast, I couldn't get a picture lol”
“Sometimes you run across a restaurant that just makes you smile. If you are just passing through on Interstate 55 and need a high quality break from driving, look no further! Lola's Homestyle Filipino Cooking is genuinely one of those special places. Lola's is clean, bright, welcoming, authentic and well managed by the owner. The kitchen was immaculate and busy (see pictures). If you have $15 to $20 for dinner, Skip the fast food and get some classy made from scratch food here at Lola's for the same money ( thank me later!!!). Offerings include rotating authentic Filipino dishes, as well as Ginger Garlic Short Ribs, Crispy Chicken Tacos, Pork BBQ Skewers, Ahi Tuna Poki, Crispy Pork Belly (a specialty here!), Korean Burnt Ends Tacos, Chicken Adobo Wings, World Class Ramen, Pancit Noodles, Beer & Bagoong Chicken Skewers, Popcorn Chicken (choice of ten different sauces), Fried Rice, Bangus (fried fish), Crispy Pork Egg rolls (top notch!), Stir Fried Veggies, Loaded Longanisa Fries ( cheesy sauce and green onions). Desserts include "Halo Halo", Sweet Potato Fries (powdered sugar & marshmallow fluff) and authentic made from scratch Ice Cream ( Mango, Uber, Buko Padan or Black Sesame). Many drink offerings including various flavors of Boba, lemonades, and sodas. I hope the folks in Pontiac appreciate such a special restaurant and having it well staffed and managed by on-site, working ownership. The attention to detail, care put into service and the immaculate cleanliness is a rare find in today's restaurant industry at any price level. I hope Lola's Homestyle Filipino Cooking gets the support from the citizens of Pontiac for many years to come. Do yourself a favor and patronize these folks. Well done to the ownership and staff at Lola's. MEGA-KUDOS!!!”
“Route 66 themed decor, friendly staff, prompt service. Corned beef skillet was excellent. Even the rye toast was better than many family restaurants offer. I stop here often as it's really conveniently accessed from I-55.”
“I love it when I go to this coffee shop. I always get greeted with a smile. I have been in twice this month and both times my iced coffee that I order (peppermint mocha) has been so good. Normally I have to add sugar to my coffee but the past two I have not. They were so delicious that I was sad the cup was empty. Also the double chocolate muffin is so good when you have a chocolate craving.”
“Good food! Love the grilled pork chops! Reasonable prices. The service is friendly and makes you feel at home. Very cozy atmosphere. They have an old bar that dates back to the 1920s. A step back in time.”
“It’s always a pleasant experience when I stop by Pontiac Nutrition 61764. Kelly Thompson is very knowledgeable regarding the products she has to offer and is also very accommodating. I try to stop in a couple times a week.”
“In need of sustenance we popped into Pfaff's Bakery whilst driving through Pontiac. We were immediately greeted by a friendly face behind the counter who welcomed us, told us the story behind the bakery and allowed us time to peruse the wonderful array of cakes behind the counter. Armed with four Pontiac Danish pastries, two filled with apricot and two with blueberry jam, plus two cups of self poured coffee from a flask on the counter we sat down at one of the tables and started chatting to the gentleman at the next table. He was a local and equally as friendly, enquiring as to our journey thus far and where we are heading next. The pastries were beyond good and while we were there a steady stream of locals came in to buy pastries and cakes for parties and birthdays. We could not resist leaving with some cookies, a couple of turnovers (recommended by the young man behind the counter) and a chocolate cake in the shape of a large walnut whip.”
“Only reason I gave it four stars for atmosphere is because it's a pizza place. You're not going to wear a tuxedo to go there but it's very clean and neat.Fantastic Pizza! Really friendly, kind, and considerate staff. Probably one of my favorite places for Central Illinois and has a former Chicago boy, that speaks a lot! I highly recommend.”
“Enjoyed the Wine Tasting experience and the appetizers were very good. Loved the fact that they are very open to doing fund raising for the Livingston Co Humane Society. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful.”
“Best pizza in Central Illinois. Always polite and greet you with a smile. And a good value. Their meat rolls are the best! And can't forget their famous Italian Beef Sandwich!! Treat yourself and eat at Joes!!!! Absolutely the best of the Best!!”
“I have been to this place twice this weekend party of 21 great service food is top notch would recommend it to everyone!!Tvs to watch sports. Nice local place the owner is always there always accommodating!!Will be backLove love pub cheese even my 6 year old loves it!!”
“Great food and staff! Well worth a stop! The owners were real characters and if you're a route 66 traveler, this is a must stop it's right down the street from old classic 60s route 66 motel”
“I've told everyone about this place food was ok only reason I gave all 5 stars is because the sweet waitress that has the lip piercing ( didn't catch her name) was busy dinner rush but she was there checking on us often and asking if we were OK Even gave me a bag since we asked for three boxes and the sweet bus person who was sweet as candy she looked really young and hard to find young people who works so hard kuddos to her and the waitress”
“Love the burnt ends! The blackened fish is good, also! The service is friendly and makes you feel at home. It's located in an old building that's been extensively remodeled. It seems a bit cavernous for my liking, but very clean.”
“Sushi is good and fresh. Roll was well put together and not dry at all. Jalapeño bombs were so good. Strongly recommend those. Will definitely order again. Love to support small local business!”
“Great service and then the other great thing ever is the best way people treat you. You can come to the small town and then your going to be here for the rest of your life. It's that comfortable to be in a bit of a"small spot" and then feel free to be here..So cool!”
“Awesome place! I tend to try wings every place I go and figured I'd try these wings out. On the menu they are under the appetizer section and are "smoked wings". I ordered those and cheese fries. These wings were some of the best I have had and were a lot different than any wing I've ever had, also cheese fries were very good. Everyone at my table was pleased with the food but the wait time for food was LONG. Other than that, this is a great place and atmosphere!”
“We traveled a distance to meet family. Our table was perfect. In a quiet corner. If I had a negative, it would be that when we were served our soup, I asked for crackers or bread. The server told us they were out and had nothing to offer. We had 6 in our group, and we all enjoyed our meals.”
“We come in from out of town and this has been a place that we have repeatedly visited. All- you- can- eat was great!! Our server was the greatest!!The freebie chips and salsa were a nice touch, too.”
“Highly recommend the beer mac and cheese special ?We are back for more great foodCreamy chicken and rice soup was delicious,,,patty melt w/fries and Philly cheesesteak did not ”
“My wife and I have been coming here since we moved to Dwight. We decided to get breakfast here and loved it. The food has always been fantastic and now we’ve had the breakfast.”
“I'm not the biggest Mexican food person but they do have great nachos. And I'm not a big drinker, nor can I handle tequila, so if you're looking for a margarita review you'll have to look elsewhere. But their strawberry daquiris... ??? ”
“The day Sunday bartender are great. The night bartender sucks. I think the day bartender name is Lori and Ronda. The night bartender is Stromi. The night bartender was more on her phone then worried about our drinks.”
“The owners and staff performed in an amazing way when I hosted my husband's funeral dinner. They catered to approximately 80 guests in a friendly and professional manner. I was pleased with the food as it was excellent. Bonnie”
