“The best brewery around! This is a great place to bring the whole family, with Joe's Station House Pizza on site as well as a self serve beer wall, there's plenty to keep the adults occupied. But what about the kids, you may ask? With numerous TVs, vintage video games and arcade games, board games and table games, the kids will find themselves in paradise. When its warm you can find yourself outside in the beer garden playing bags or sand volleyball. OBs regularly features very talented musicians for some free entertainment. On top of all that, the event space available to rent really rounds out the place.”

“Crossroads Cafe was the perfect meeting place to reconnect with a dear friend over coffee and fresh baked cherry cinnamon rolls! ☕️ This place offers such an inviting and comfortable atmosphere. The owners are so neat! I really appreciated their attentive service so I went back the next day to try their lunch menu. I highly recommend their Italian sandwich! ?My favorite thing about this place is their drive-thru service, so you can enjoy it on the go if you are just passing through!! ?”

Lola's Homestyle Filipino Cooking is genuinely one of those special places. Lola's is clean, bright, welcoming, authentic and well managed by the owner.The kitchen was immaculate and busy (see pictures). If you have $15 to $20 for dinner, Skip the fast food and get some classy made from scratch food here at Lola's for the same money ( thank me later!!!). Offerings include rotating authentic Filipino dishes, as well as Ginger Garlic Short Ribs, Crispy Chicken Tacos, Pork BBQ Skewers, Ahi Tuna Poki, Crispy Pork Belly (a specialty here!), Korean Burnt Ends Tacos, Chicken Adobo Wings, World Class Ramen, Pancit Noodles, Beer & Bagoong Chicken Skewers, Popcorn Chicken (choice of ten different sauces), Fried Rice, Bangus (fried fish), Crispy Pork Egg rolls (top notch!), Stir Fried Veggies, Loaded Longanisa Fries ( cheesy sauce and green onions). Desserts include "Halo Halo", Sweet Potato Fries (powdered sugar & marshmallow fluff) and authentic made from scratch Ice Cream ( Mango, Uber, Buko Padan or Black Sesame). Many drink offerings including various flavors of Boba, lemonades, and sodas. I hope the folks in Pontiac appreciate such a special restaurant and having it well staffed and managed by on-site, working ownership. The attention to detail, care put into service and the immaculate cleanliness is a rare find in today's restaurant industry at any price level. I hope Lola's Homestyle Filipino Cooking gets the support from the citizens of Pontiac for many years to come. Do yourself a favor and patronize these folks. “This is such a childhood restaurant for me. Great ice cream for the summer. Best coleslaw ever. Pulled pork sandwiches and spicy chicken sandwiches are some faves. Family friendly.Parking: Right by the restaurant. Not a whole lot of space, but somehow holds infinite cars.Kid-friendliness: Amazing. Servers are nice, decorations everywhere, amazing vibe, radio is going, high chairs available. If you bring sharpies you can sign your name on the back wall.”

“In need of sustenance we popped into Pfaff's Bakery whilst driving through Pontiac. We were immediately greeted by a friendly face behind the counter who welcomed us, told us the story behind the bakery and allowed us time to peruse the wonderful array of cakes behind the counter. Armed with four Pontiac Danish pastries, two filled with apricot and two with blueberry jam, plus two cups of self poured coffee from a flask on the counter we sat down at one of the tables and started chatting to the gentleman at the next table. He was a local and equally as friendly, enquiring as to our journey thus far and where we are heading next. The pastries were beyond good and while we were there a steady stream of locals came in to buy pastries and cakes for parties and birthdays. We could not resist leaving with some cookies, a couple of turnovers (recommended by the young man behind the counter) and a chocolate cake in the shape of a large walnut whip.”

“Stopped here for dinner while passing through the area. Typical bar atmosphere with very nice employees. We were seated right away. After you choose your order you will need to go to the bar and order be pay for it. It will be brought to your table once done. There is no table service though. The burgers we got were super delicious and juicy. Can substitute the side for whichever one you want from the appetizer menu in whole or half. Cooks were super fast and I have to say I was amazed at how clean the kitchen and exhaust hood were. Amazing place!”

I first met the owners when they had their little coffee trailer on Main Street a couple years ago, and it makes me happy to see how far they’ve come with their efforts. The drinks are amazing and original. It’s right in the middle of downtown Lexington, and not far from anything in this town.Parking: There are plenty of spots on the street, spaces along Cedar st, and there’s two parking lots not far from the shop”

Food was fine, wow, cook making everything… for everyone on such a small flattop! Recommend new owners spend some $$$$ on “atmosphere”. Get some LED lighting, brighten the place up, strip out SOME of the old, redo wall “art”, clean up seating area so the families in the area feel welcome to enjoy the food and staff.”

“Awesome place! I tend to try wings every place I go and figured I'd try these wings out. On the menu they are under the appetizer section and are "smoked wings". I ordered those and cheese fries. These wings were some of the best I have had and were a lot different than any wing I've ever had, also cheese fries were very good. Everyone at my table was pleased with the food but the wait time for food was LONG. Other than that, this is a great place and atmosphere!”

“Pizza was really good. It was cooked to perfection, crunchy & cheesy. My daughter had the Ruben sandwich and stated was the best she’s had. Her boyfriend had the cheeseburger on a pretzel bun with beer cheese and he said it was really good. Nice place. Mostly locals. Everyone seem to be having a good time. Highly recommend!”
