My Mother’s Day dinner was awesome!! ??????I’m so glad me and my family decided to dine at cheddars. The atmosphere was great. The food was excellent and the service was the bomb. The young lady in the photo was our waitress. She was so kind considerate, patient, caring with me and my family. She met our every need I am not joking. I had to give her generous tip. thank you so much cheddars for making my Mother’s Day a awesome day! special Thanks to Tamarah keep doing the awesome work you’re doing God bless.??
We had a great dinner. 30 minute wait was so much better than the other short staffed places around here that are over an hour like Longhorn and Roadhouse. Server was very attentive and friendly. Offered to go drinks which I loved. My tbone steak was very fairly priced and cooked to perfection. Complimentary croissants to start the meal. Everything was also brought out quickly. Very prepared and ample staff to provide service.
Great service! The manager was very attentive and stopped at our table before, during and after the meal. He did this with all the tables from where I could see. There was a wait, but was properly told appx wait time! Our server was slammed but made everything timely! Very impressed with the service and food! Kids and all were very happy!
The dessert/bread they bring out for free is pretty good. The steak was cooked horribly wrong. The ribs are super average. The monte cristo was very unique but I didn’t like it. Flavors didn’t mix well. Not their fault though. But really I think Cheddars is an overrated Applebees. Some of the items look like they were ordered off a kids menu…. They weren’t.2.4/5
Had a wonderful waitress she was amazing. This place was totally worth taking my friend too it is in between pricey and normal prices. The croissant were amazing I ordered the chicken Alfredo which was awesome and my friend really enjoyed her potato soup and chicken pot pie. I'm definitely coming back.
The food was OK, but on the salty side. When I paid the bill, I used a gift card I had gotten and when our food check came back, it showed a $2.99 (plus tax) charge for "Table Games." We are in our 70's so did not play any such games. The waitress went to ask management what to do and was told there was nothing they could do so I had to eat the $2.99 charge. Our waitress, Amanda O, who was an excellent waitress, offered for us to not leave a trip and she would take the hit. A server working on a holiday should not have to pay for something that management should have done. The manager on duty was Chris Harrington. We were there on 1/2/23 at 1:10 pm. Seriously? Management couldn't have offered a free appetizer for next time or return the overcharge in cash???- Our waitress Amanda O was wonderful- The food was just OK- Management needs to be more responsible and not make the staff pay for it out of their own pocket.- We will never return and it wasn't the service or the food, but the way management just let us get overcharged without trying to do something. Be sure to never use a gift card as what they charge cannot be changed and you will be out of luck!
Great service as usual. Was told would be about a 40 minute wait was actually only about 20 minutes so they are smart enough to know that they should give an overestimate. Awesome food. Portion sizes were great to where I even had enough to take home for lunch the next day. Steak was cooked as ordered and absolutely perfect.I wish I had gotten our waitresses name because she was wonderful and very attentive. Will definitely be back as even though right now prices are up everywhere it doesn't seem like they've raised theirs significantly. There were things that were a little bit more expensive than last time we were there, but not extreme, which was great to see.As far as giving four stars for the atmosphere part of it. That is simply because we were sitting in a booth by a window and they really I think need to weatherproof their windows because we felt a pretty significant cool breeze coming through the window sill. It wasn't even our extreme cold yet. All in all that's the only issue we had really.Great job and keep up the good work Cheddar's.
To Go needs approvement. 10 minutes to pick up an online order when it just sitting on a table is to long. I arrived at 12:53 no host or bartendare to be seen but my food was sitting on a DIRTY table. So instead of just grabbing it and leaving I waited at the host stand to be informed that i need to speak to the bartender. After coming from the kitchen I showed her my confimation and asked can I grab my food and leave she said No. Okay! Then she printed out a receipt which I already paid for it online and said she need a signature. ( Let be real she didnt think the $3.00 tip was enough in my opinion and that why she print it out again.) The food was just okay mushroom were gross because they were canned and had a funny taste. Two stars cause the the Butter crossiants were good.
Very depressing! Waited to be seated while watching 6 - 6 people walking around laughing and joking! Once we were greeted the young girl acted like it was an inconvenience we were there! Finally seated and our server did not acknowledge us for about 10 mins because she was focused on her other tables…. Once she did she brought croissants and walked away…… back to her other tables! When she finally came back she asked for drinks — we were there for dessert and my watermelon rita…. She took our dessert order, we told her we did not want the croissants and she walked away only to come back and let us know they were out of the dessert we requested! Do NOT waste your time!! Overall we spent about 30 mins here and walked out with nothing!
We stopped in for lunch Friday around 1230, maybe 1/3 full. First time stopped here in about 6 months. We used to really like coming here but this was not good. Started off poorly as three people laughing and joking around and never acknowledged us. A person came from the back of place and seated us. Server did take our drink order rapidly and drinks delivered with two warm croissants with a sweet sauce They were tasty but we noticed that if you wanted more there was a charge. My wife ordered the salmon served with slaw and a salt covered baked potato. She thought the salmon and slaw were good and the potato very good. I ordered the Key West chicken and shrimp served over rice along with slaw and steamed broccoli . The main was good and the slaw and broccoli tasty. When we asked for the bill we were brought the wrong one. This was twice what ours should have been. Rather than bring a corrected bill they pulled our bill up on one of their table top systems and again the bill was not correct as we pointed out to her. Now a manager somehow got involved because she could not correct the bill and it appeared it had already processed on our card. Things needed to be reversed and we finally got a correct paper bill with no real apology for screw up. This would have a been a one star for service, attitude but the food was ok

Small wait before being seated. Loved the crossisant with honey butter on it. The margaritas were very good. My ribeye steak was cooked to order and hot. Outside crust on steak....excellent. wife had coconut shrimp and chicken tenders. She said "The first coconut shrimp she's had that actually had a good coconut flavor and tasted of coconut." Server was excellent. We had a very good dining experience. Will be back..
Upon entering the restaurant we were told it would be a 15 to 20 minute wait. There were so many open tables, we didn’t understand why there was a wait. Once seated, the booths were very worn and covering needed replaced. And there were tons of open tables, but the hostess sat every group that came in back to back. The food was above average. My husband had the pot pie and I hade the tilapia. Our waitress never asked to refill our drinks even though she passed by our table several times.
The food was terrific and so was the service. We will definitely be back.
Just out of a sports event, saw Cheddar's and stopped (4 of us) with anticipation of 3 more people joining us. Was seated and waited quite a while before the server asked for our drink order. It appeared odd that workers were walking all around, but there was only one waitress for the whole restaurant. The rolls were heavenly, however if you wanted additional, it was a charge for 2 at a time. In the meantime, the others in my party arrived and were unmistakably ignored. By the time they ordered, we were eating. The food was very delicious but the service very lacking.
Had the best time at the bar for dinner. The T-bone was exceptional!!!! Perfect temperature just as ordered. Fantastic portions. Although we got our meal before our appetizers it's perfectly fine for how busy they were. Very nice experience. Only complaint is the young man at the host stand could use some people skills. Tried asking how long, asked to sit at bar and was given rude answer about the booths, I asked to sit at bar he gave rude if can find room sure and shoved menu in my hand.Rest of staff was very great cordial was immediately greeted at the bar. Great suggestions given ?.Overall a very nice Saturday night dinner for us. Fix your hosting station, would have received 5 stars.
