From the STL area, camping in Shelbyville for the weekend. Checking out the local wineries. The Niemerg Family Winery is a small country town winery open only on the weekends. From the moment we walked in, Bill, one of the owners, made it feel warm and welcoming! There is definitely a “Cheers” type atmosphere, which I have never seen in a winery type setting. They offer a wide variety of craft beers, and of course very good wine and wine slushies. Would definitely recommend a stop for what they have to offer!

We used this facility for a surprise graduation party for 2 sisters who were graduating from grad school. The owner was amazing to work with to plan and equally as easy and helpful when we showed up to set up. We were able to decorate, we brought in food and drinks. Everyone showed up at about the same time and the owners handled the crowd perfectly. The party was a huge success and everyone had a great time.
Not only is the wine absolutely incredible the customer service is beyond wonderful. Absolutely would recommend trying the Winter Delight it's out of this world. Will 100% be buying wine from here regularly for the rest of my time in the area. Thank you for the amazing experience!
