Had one of the best steaks of my life there. It was a marinated sirloin. My son, who is a picky eater, also demolished it! Great food- the bar had a fast paced environment and you could tell the everyone was having a good time!

Got food poisoning 2Xs in less than 2 years from what i believe was from eating the green beans with undercooked bacon in them. Also this past Friday the 21st of March, they didn't have everything for the 1st drink we asked for, but then got a 2 drinks with spoiled pineapple juice. I refused to drink mine and the wife drink maybe 3 Oz of hers and had to leave mid meal for 15+mins from the bad juice in the drink. After gently contacting them over my concern I have yet to hear from them. I even had to miss a whole day of work because of this date night going gross.
Tailwinds is the place a bit out of the beaten path, but it's definitely a hidden gem. If you haven't had their prime rib, or broasted chicken, you're missing out! It has some of the best food lake Shelbyville has to offer with the feel of going to a family gathering. It's always upbeat, and it's not ever slow, so I'd call ahead to reserve your seats.

Tried the Lake Water! Great fruity drink but would not recommend if you are driving ? had a medium rare ribeye that was perfectly done and very tasty without any added sauce. Noticed that others at the table that ordered med well thought theirs was a little dry. Asparagus was on the small side and overdone but over all everything was good and the service was great.
