Great burgers, excellent service and a nice outdoor seating area! For a $10 burger they asked me how I want it cooked! $4 beers. Hawaiian Burger was about 5" high! The Irish server/ bartender said they are almost 100 years old and it's reassuring to know they've made it through so many trends etc. If it's still going after that long you know there doing something right..

It's a dive bar. A little... Or a lot pricey. But it was really good. My burger was obviously not a frozen patty and tasted on par if not better than portillo's. I do wish they had more kinds of cheese than just cheddar balls. Our waitress/bartender was awesome. I love the decoration they have there. It has a scent when you walk in. Not a bad odor, just a smell that comes from having a bar/restaurant that's been open a really long time through maybe many societal shifts. That's actually a reassuring smell to me. It means they're honest and good enough to withstand time, COVID, politics, and tax changes.
More people should support this place by giving them their custom. We should all want places like this to prosper and stay in business. This is a flavor of Chicagoland I personally would hate to lose.

First timers and we found this place by pure luck! The food was delicious and cooked to perfection, but our experience was made all the better by Una, who was sweet and hilarious! She made us feel extremely welcome! We will definitely be back!

Honestly, we were nervous to come in because the reviews weren’t great but I love this place ! The regulars are wonderful and kind, and great conversationalists ! Jen the bartender makes you feel like you’ve been coming in your whole life and the drinks are actually really good for a dive bar. It’s a lovely hidden spot in forest park and definitely worth the walk.
