Let's not mince words - this is a dive bar. And I do mean DIVE. But there are some really good things about this place and places like it. First off, the staff is amazing. Super nice, super funny. Don't get me wrong, they're just as likely to insult you as anything else, but it's always in a playful way. They're good people. Ditto for the regulars. Dog-friendly pub with a spacious backyard, picnic tables and horseshoes. Inexpensive drinks, attentive bartender Vanessa, and a relaxed neighborhood clientele. They even screened Jeopardy for me in my afternoon off!!

Leaving drunk as s*** at 10am then eating White Castle sliders like Kevin at home while you're girlfriend is pissed at you. This place is a gem in a forest park.
