The Beacon Pub is a neighborhood joint that offers delicious, flavorful burgers and some of the best fries around. The homemade food is hot and crunchy, served at affordable prices. With a variety of burger options, ample seating, and fast service, it's a perfect spot to enjoy sports on TV. The Uptown Mushroom burger is a standout, accompanied by handcut fries. The pub also features Alfredo's superb sandwiches, excellent salads with top-notch protein add-ons, and French fries that are second to none. While there is no draft beer and the bottle selection is minimal, the friendly bartenders and the vintage bar with lots of stools create a welcoming atmosphere. In good weather, the cozy back outdoor patio is divine, making it an excellent hangout. On Mondays, the pub hosts a comedy night with a good mixture of comedians. Parking is plentiful, and vegetarian options, including vegan entrees and sides, are available. The Beacon Pub remains a relic of the past that's still alive and thriving.
