I was going to treat myself to Carne Asada because I have been craving it for a couple of years.I have had many parties there for like 30 + years. The last time I was there Carne Asada was $15.99. It is now $43.99. I ended up having a Sandwich. To buy a steak for what I pay for my monthly cell phone bill is just not sensible! Nope, Never Again!

For the prices you’re charging this was terrible. Service was ok. For 3 people burgers and 1 drink each was $72.00 with tip. This used to be a great place. Would not go back again

Refused to let me sit inside with my medical service dog. This is in direct violation of the Americans with Disabilities act.

This restaurant refused to allow me to sit inside with my medical service dog. This is indirect violation of the Americans With Disabilities Act. Clearly the management at this restaurant is not trained.

Good views, below-average food. The staff is nice enough. It is Fox Lake, though, not exactly the culinary capital of the world.

Food was delicious. Had a large group of 11. They allowed separate checks and kept checking in on our needs.

Used to be one of my favorite spots, staff used to be friendly now you are met by frowning faces and grumpy attitude. The bar tender loud with lots of attitude, perfect for a manager if this was a mechanic shop:

While in town for a funeral we stopped to have dinner with the family. Later that evening we realize a wallet had been lost. In addition to being 40 minutes away that night we live 5 hours away and this was a major inconvenience. The next morning on the way to the funeral home I made contact with the restaurant and asked that they check around for the wallet. After several IMMEDIATELY RETURNED messages, they found it! Of course this was a huge relief. In addition to being impressed with the quick response, concern and empathy for our situation…the dining experience was amazing. Great views. Comfortable seating for our large party and REALLY good food. Chrissy if you’re reading this, you are the reason I’ll be back again. 😍
