I gave Dinghys another chance after the bartender wouldn't stop talking about her personal political views and was making comments about other races because that is one single person and not the entire business.
Months later, I was even willing to give Dinghys another chance after my friend was served undercooked chicken, and another friend got a cheeseburger with the cheese parchment paper inside (same group of people) because $hit happens and we all make mistakes. And again, that was one single person, not the entire business.
But I cannot and will not support a place that chooses to exclude people, proudly claiming on Facebook that they are not woke. THAT is the entire business and that shows me what exactly they stand for.

Nice outdoor space…for a beautiful busy Mothers Day we expected a wait for food but over two hours was just a bit too long. Server was attentive and kept drinks coming. Smashburger was just ok flavor wise… needed some seasoning. Homemade chips were good and cucumber salad was delish. Pork tenderloin sandwich was good. When the food did come out it was hot.
We will definitely try again.

Dinghys will definitely be on our list of "go to" stops year-round. Great food! Friendly staff! Met the owner who is hands-on and local. Beautiful views of Fox Lake and the channel to Nippersink. Looking forward to patio season and continuation of live music! Best wishes to them as they enter their first full summer season. Cheers!

Parking: Easier to find a spot by boat, parking in the marina lot out back next to the beef barge parking.

I had a great time with my dad sitting at the bar and being a part of the meat raffle. The bartender was very attentive, and the fish sandwich was bomb. Great bar on the lake.
Chicken bacon wrap was delicious - the home made chips were fire! Wear an extra layer of clothes cuz the foods worth it!

Bobby was awful. Over changed us. He couldn't get our drinks right. We were the only ones in the place. Argued with us over the bill. Won't be back.
