Any ice cream shop, regardless of size, is capable of accommodating guests by designating space for an allergen-free station. They have a new policy which they think is reasonable but definitely prevents a large number of customers from being able to order most of their menu. It seems that they no longer clean utensils frequently enough and do not wish to try to accommodate customers by arranging an allergen-free station. I do recommend them, HOWEVER, on our recent visit, as I ordered, a worker stood near the order window, proceeded to take out a lip balm, put some on her finger and rub it into her lips. Then took my order receipt and made one of the items, NEVER WASHED HER HANDS.
When she gave it to me I asked her if I could tell her something. I told her what I saw and that she didn’t wash her hands. I then told her to wash her hands and make me another.
